Valve Extensions For Inner Dual WithTPMS Flow Through Sensors
wayne77590 replied to grumps1's topic in Tires
Many people have had good experiences with the braided extensions but in my case I got a bad set on install. The braid near the crimp leaked. Cost me a couple tires. So, I used the Dually Valve Stems and they work wonderfully. Call them with your specifications and ask questions. They are well worth the investment. -
I have two. Just make sure they are continuous recording, that is they re-write over the sd card when it gets full. Only video worth keeping is the last one recorded.

Largo, FL through New Orleans, LA to Petoskey, MI
wayne77590 replied to CAROLBERG's question in Destinations/Attractions
When we stayed it was at the New Orleans West KOA. As you are driving to it you will say, "Hmmm! Do I really want to be in this area?" They do not have pull-throughs but the back-in were wide enough and the ground guide (at that time) was great. It is about 25 minutes from down town NO and the have a shuttle twice a day that will bring you to down-town. From what I have heard you do not want to be down-town at night - but that is hearsay. -
For what it's worth, I have to turn my "steps" off or the trickle charge will not keep up with the discharge rate. First six months of ownership of the MH the service batteries would keep dropping down to 11.x volts. Called Winnebago and they said that the step motor should be off. Never had a problem after turning the steps off and plugged into 110 v at storage unit.

Wouldn't bother me as long as it is above 12' 4" (Think basement AC). If the sign says over "weight or" restricted and I'm over that weight I stay off. If it says "Trucks not allowed," then I'm cautious but I'm not a truck. Registrations says Recreational Vehicle. If I know the route I'm taking I'll use this web site AITA Online knowing that it is NOT all inclusive.

A three point turn looks to be definitely out of the question. Talk about a highway to nowhere. There might be a "Dead End" sign just about 50 or more miles up the path.

I have a 2008 and it does not have DEF, thank goodness.

Welcome to FMCA and the forum PJ (Short for your handle). Nice looking ride. Herman hit it on the nail with journal. DW keeps one but we also keep all of our information in a Calendar (Think Apple Products but any calendar will do.) It has helped me when search for old RV haunts. Happy trails to you and the family.

I have the Blue Ox Kar-Gard II (screen between MH and TOAD). Never noticed any new chips and dings but just driving down the highway in TOAD has caused some. Alos have chips on side where 18 wheeler's have thrown up grit.

I do not have air leveling, just jacks. They have always been down during high winds, including hurricane condition 1. (We didn't get far enough away in evacuation) Antenna down, slide in on windy side. Better to find a Walmart, HD, Lowe's or mall and park on the leeward side if possible.

Looks like you followed Google Maps.

I have a 2008 Winnebago Destination and it does not have pass through....well, except for 8 inches at the top. That 8 inches is enough for folding chairs and other narrow items, like storage boxes. For the bottom of the compartment I put in those plastic drawers for some store. They are separate drawers but I have them stacked two high. It sure makes for easy organization. I do not leave my tow bar safety cables and other accessories on the tow bar. They all fit easily into one of those storage drawers. The bays under the slide when the slides are out can be a bit of a bend over and reach especially if someone were to have any joint problems. I have seen up close the full slide out drawers and my personal opinion is that there is more room for bigger items. Just my two cents worth.

Oh my! It's a miracle? Praise be!

I have used "Goo-B-Gone" with good results on auto stickers.

I did receive the complementary membership when I purchased my motorhome, and then renewed when time was up. I am on the 5 year plan also.

Looking good. I also have mine back there and I use clear suction cups, real small for the front windshield on passenger side of coach. Works well for the front.

I live too close to him and could almost hit him by throwing rocks. He has to be careful.

As Blake stated. We installed a new kitchen faucet in the S&B (they all work the same way) and when the plumber turned on the water the hot water side did not work. He pulled out the "mixer" valve and there was a piece of debris blocking the hot water side. Who did the install. Oops!

I thought that was everyday! Sorry Carl, I'll try to stick to Monday's but don't count on it.

Welcome and may all your travels be safe ones.

We are not rally goers. We like the small get-to-gather groups of about 20 rigs or less. It let's us get to know the people and we have made some life-long friends in smaller groups. Texas Boomers and RV Mutants are the two groups that we get together with and have wonderful times and memories. All the hoopla of large rallies are just not for us. Hey, to each their own. The other benefits of belonging to FMCA out-way the annual cost. I always wondered how the FMCA Assist would work. Well, I now know. This past month or so friends went to Florida in their RV. He had a heart attack and only has 20% muscle working his hart. After stabilization FMCA Assist provided a medical Lear jet with medical personnel on board and flew him and his wife to Little Rock where a better care surgeon was located. Fortunately they also live in LR. FMCA Assist was going to provide for getting their motorhome back to LR and flying the two pooches back to LR. As it was, friends went to Florida and drove the MH and pooches back. FMCA Assist is picking up their expenses. My personal thoughts on opening up the FMCA to other than Motorhome owners will enhance the coffers and be able to continue to provide that wonderful additional benefit. Thanks FMCA.

Camping Near Glacier National Park & Route From Yellowstone
wayne77590 replied to debsiver's question in Destinations/Attractions
We stayed at Grizzly RV Park, MT. We came the "other" way from Columbia Falls RV Park, MT to get to Grizzly with a stop at Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, MT. We traveled down Hwy 93 to Hwy 90 and the roads heading that way are scarce. We did decide to get off of the Interstate and we picked up US-287 near Carowell, MT. We were so glad we did. the scenery was beautiful and the road was good. Two lane but doable in the 40 footer with TOAD. Back-track that route and I think you will enjoy it. -
There is only one ground guide I will listen to/use and that is my wife. It's nice to have audio on the monitor plus her hand signal. I learned the very first time backing the MH into the driveway that "Whoa!" is Texan for "Stop."
