  1. Welcome to the forum. I was doing that and it works on hard/flat surfaces. The problem is they will split when on grass or dirt or just uneven surface. Look on page one at the post I made showing the "upgraded" pads. These have worked well and no more split boards. Bill
  2. Welcome to the forum. ALL OF THEM! They are all different and spectacular. The same could be said for all the National Parks. The more time you spend the more different stuff you will see. https://www.nps.gov/index.htm A fun way to keep records of the places you visit is with a National Parks Passport book. you can get stamps and add them to the book for each park you visit along with a stamp with date to show when you were to a park. https://www.eparks.com/store/category/30/278/Passport-Books/ Bill
  3. I had plenty of room under my Bounder to do the transmission oil change. If you want more you don't need ramps just blocks. Put 2 under the jacks and raise the coach then place boards under the tires and let the jacks back down if you want to. I fit under the coach with the bags down and jacks up so I am not to worried about geting caught if the jacks lost preshure. 6'2 240# so you have more clearance than I do. Use a plastic scraper to remove any gaskets that stick. It is important to use the plastic scraper so you don't scratch the mating surface as it will cause a leak path. The outher thing is be careful with the torque. That is a lot of torque for that size fastener in aluminum. I double checked the speck because it is so hi. You are ok because the amount of threads is much more than a regular type of installation. Use the torque numbers in the filter kit instructions, but carefully. I would do it in at least 3 steps. 4. Why do you need ramps? Bill
  5. I don't have any problem with my "carbon footprint". I am hoping to make it bigger and bolder in the future. Bill
  6. Welcome to the forum. Like others have said just set your"Level" so it doesn't run off where you don't want it to. I often set the front just a tad higher so it runs off the back. I once was on a rare level spot and didn't have the jacks down. When I stepped on the steps it created a low point, guess where the water ran off.
  7. I don't see any evidence of a long term leak. So I would monitor it and see what you find. Can you leave it open so you get better airflow? Bill
  8. This video will give the non believers an idea of how much power a tornado can have. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WABqwKjQM_c Watch and tell me how you think you would be safe in your RV. Bill
  9. Glad you got it fixed now go have some fun. Bill
  10. 359 to US 287 to 87 to US20 would probably be the way I would go. If you add your RV and some outher info to your signature you don't have to type it all the time and you will get better answers. Have you used Google Street view to look at any of the roads? Bill
  11. Most of the time Dunkin Donuts Coffee. Bill
  12. I have much better uses for red solo cups. Bill
  13. I would go up using the second route US 95 to US 2 then when you leave on state 35 south to Flathead lake. I would stay on US 93 to Elmo to Wye on I-95. I like Jim & Mary's RV Park, 9800 US-93, Missoula, MT 59808 jimandmarys.com, (406) 549-4416. Good spot to stay while you explore around Missoula. Missoula had 3 separate farmers markets going at the same time. If they are in season get some Flathead cherries. Bill
  14. Ok, lets review, the black tank washer/flush is not connected to any outher part of your water system, right? Make shure the valves are turned all the way in the hot water bypass system. not just the handles as they have been known to slip on the shaftes. If that isn't it replace the check valve on the hot water heater. Let me know what you find. Bill
  15. Joe those sealants will keep someone busy trying to get them apart. There are other "better quality" sealants out there but most don't want to spend the money. Prep is the key and using the right promoter. Bill
  16. Welcome to the forum. Not enough information. I am not going to guess that you really mean lr3? what year? what transmission? what trim? Bill
  17. One of the problems is geting the silicone to stick to the old sealant and being shure the old sealant is not compromised causing a leak path. I have no experience with "Flex Seal". Bill
  18. Wayne, try using Diesel Kleen to improve the cetane rating of your fuel. I can tell the difference of how smooth the engine runs with it. https://powerservice.com/psp_product/diesel-kleen-cetane-boost/, "Diesel Kleen +Cetane Boost is loaded with cetane, detergent and lubricity improver to provide peak diesel performance." Bill
  19. I would make sure the valves on the bypass setup on the hot water heater are in the right position because you say they just de winterized it. Bill
  20. Yes there was something you could do that the cars couldn't do. When traffic is stopped put on the 4 way flashers set the parking brake and get up and go to the bathroom. Grab a cold drink from the frige and be back in your seat ready and much more relaxed when traffic does move. Bill
  21. I am talking about you. I don't know of any RV tier that is bias ply any more. Bill
  22. Welcome to the forum. I don't know if the pier would have a place to plug the coach in. Parking is a RV park would give the OP a place to leave the coach plugged in so it is cool when they get back and they don't need to empty the refrigerator. Bill
