  1. Case in point. I posted a while ago about trying to find the water pump fuse. As a recap, went to the coach and while there tried to wash my hands. No water pump. Worked just fine a few days ago. Had a hard time finding the fuse as it was nowhere near where all the experts and factory drawings thought it might be. Finally found it in fuse box at foot of bed. Ok the point of the storey is if I had taken it to Rev Group in Alvarado it would probbabley cost me $500 and a new water pump. I don't remember what the fuse cost but way under $2.00. By the way have you seen the new hi tech fuses that have a led that lights up if they fail? I don't want to seem like I am picking on those who have problems that prevent them from doing projects. 2. The Continentals that I put on last year seam to ride fine. Bill
  3. That is to true. They don't come up to basic auto standards. For the price they are getting I think they should be built with Aircraft quality basics. Bill
  4. I would take 285 north to I-40 at Clines Corners and go west to The Grand Canyon. Call now to try to get a spot in the park at Trailer Village, 100 Trailer Village Rd, Grand Canyon Village, AZ 86023, visitgrandcanyon.com, (928) 638-1006. Bill
  5. Isn't that the truth. I am holding my breath waiting to see what problem pops up next. I feel bad for those who have to pay someone else to do everything. Bill
  6. I am with Joe on this. it was at a pretty good angle to wear like that. I would do a search as I think there is a recall/problem with the steering locking when it isn't supposed to. Bill
  7. Why are you pushing it? You are retired and not on the clock. I try for 250-300 miles a day. I want to be set up by happy hour. Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum. I don't have any experience with that make and model coach. If you can't find anyone with one, what are your concerns? Have you considered hiring someone to inspect the coach for you? Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum. Why not look at the Rio Grand Valley? Bill
  10. Welcome to the forum. The FMCA towing guide says if it is a manual transmission it is. https://site.fmca.com/images/stories/pdf/towing_06.pdf Allso Remco does show that the manuel is towable, allso the 2006 Scion tC ALL FWD I4 2.4L cyl 4-Speed Automatic U241E, with a lube pump. http://www.remcotowing.com/Towing/Store.php Bill

  12. That is why TIME is an important question. That is why toll roads were built. They are the shortest ,fastest, easiest way to go. Well except for the GW bridge. Bill
  13. This may help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldekjpYQ7Qw&t=76s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhtuETqUuic https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5MSGqfh8z0 Bill
  14. How long do you have for this trip? I would get an EZ-Pass for the trip. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. Well you could join AAA and use their mapping service or pick up some paper maps to use in planning your trip.Or you can use CoPilot as you can download the maps when you have wifi and you don't use as much data. We have used it for the last 4-5 years with good success. I have the basic version not the RV specific version. I have heard of some problems with the RV version. Bill
  16. Try calling hear to see if they can help. http://motorhomesoftexas.com/parts-accessories I think the pipe should be good as it doesn't have to hold any great preshure. Bill
  17. Nancy, Is your ResMed AirSense 10 12V or 110? I would think it would have a "adapter" so you could plug it into 110. If you have an inverter in your coach, I bet you have a 110 outlet in the back that is powered from it. Turn off external power and test the outlets with your inverter on. Bill
  18. I don't see anything wrong with the repaired pipe. If you feel the need to spend the money I would call and find a Tubing shop to make a new one, probbabley cheaper than Freightliner. I second Texas Custom Coach in Pipe Creek, Texas. Driving over there from Houston will tell you if the new one leakes. Bill
  19. Welcome to the forum. I think it would be fun to get acess to one of the certified torque meters used to calibrate torque wrenches and run a test. Bill
  20. It never hurts to add cleaning the CAC to your annual maintenance list. I hope to escape before it gets to hot. Bill
  21. Yes it is a common problem with rear radiator coaches. It should be addressed at least yearly. wfstewa, I would look at yours to. Bill
  22. Did you happen to notice that the instructions were pointing out the wrong fuse? That the link I commented on pointed out the correct fuse? Bill
  23. Well good for you. I was pointing out that the numerous mechanical items covered by your warranty statistically fail rather quickly as in the first few months (when you have the factory warranty) or last a long time before failure. " crapping in two different expensive toilets over 700 times a year," Seriously I would cut back on the fiber a little. As someone said "Only time will tell." Bill
