  2. Welcome to the forum. Yes best practice is to be ready to spend a week with out hookups. They will probably have water trucks, pump out trucks and I don't know about propane but it isn't cheap or quick. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. Did you have a question? Bill

Welcome to the forum LeRoy. If you can do the work I would look at some of the parts stores that cater to diesel trucks. While most handle performance parts they probably have original equipment type too. Some may have the capability of installing it for you. Bill
  7. Welcome to the forum. You will be a little larger. You can compare size with a tool like this. Are you running LR G or H now? https://tiresize.com/comparison/ I went from 255/80R 22.5 to 275/80R 22.5 and picked up a 6.6% overdrive. Bill

  13. Welcome to the forum. One handy tip is to use the gas islands on the outside/ end so you can maintain plenty of room for "tail swing". Hear is a good video that explains some of the terms of driving a RV. Bill

  15. I looked and decided the original was better. and thought it had deleted. Bill
  16. Welcome to the forum. You must have gone north east when you left. I haven't been there this year but 2 years ago they were both fairly rough. Not terrible but about average. Speed limit is 55 towing so that will help. Bill
  17. When down in that part of the world I always stop at The Apple Store, 14024 State Hwy 16 North, Medina, TX 78055, lovecreekorchards.com, (830) 589-2202. They have a restaurant in the back of the store that is on list of one of the 50 best burgers in Texas. In Fredericksburg you should look up Woerner Warehouse Café, 305 S Lincoln St, Fredericksburg, TX 78624 woernerwarehouse.com, (830) 997-2246 This is hidden in a big warehouse that has lots of stuff riley lots of stuff. It was so good we have ben back every time we are near. Bill
  18. I switched to Continental's last summer, 275/80 R22.5 load range H. Great tires and saved over $100.00 off the Michelin discount price. Bill
  19. There are several way's to do this. First call Cummins with the serial number for your engine and ask them. Or see if there is a part number tag or stamped on the old one. or go to Cummins Quick serve and register your engine, you will need the S/N. This is one of the better things to do because it gives you access to the same data as the dealer. https://quickserve.cummins.com/info/index.html Bill
  20. Hear you go. Texas Custom Coach, 10498 South State Highway 16, Pipe Creek, TX 78063 texascustomcoach.com, (830) 510-4224 Carl will probably be along to endorse them two. Bill
  21. Glad things are improving. Bill
  22. You need boats to catch fish and something besides dirty rice for a side. Keep frying those fish and shrimp and scallops. Bill
  23. At the south side of the causeway to South Padre Island check out. Dirty Al's at Pelican Station, 201 S Garcia St, Port Isabel, TX 78578, pelicanstation.co, (956) 943-3344. Along the coast just pick one. Bill
  24. Well Ken I have ben as far "Dow East" as you can go in Main and a little further to Campobello Island to tour the Roosevelt Summer home. If you are in East Port, Stay at Seaview Campground & Cottages as that is the most north east campground in the USA. Be Shure to stop at Raye's Mustard Mill Museum. If you sample some of the different mustards you will end up buying some. Before I forget a little south of Maine in RI there is a great place for fried fish. George's of Galilee, georgesofgalilee.com, just walking distance from Point Judith Light is hard to beat. Bill
