  1. Well once again the OP hasn't been back. Wayne, I was looking at that route because we are going east after Wyoming and Co. Most likely route is pick up I-80 to the south of Chicago then merge onto I-90 (The Mass Pike West) and take it the rest of the way to I-95 north.(take the 495 loop around Boston). We are going north of Portland ME. I don't see the "I-84 through CT to Sturbridge then maybe US-20" but I would stay on I-90 much better route and they have places to stop. I have been cross lots in New England and had a hard time finding a place to pull over and accessible fuel stations are tough to find.. It has been 2 years since the last time I was up there but I have been in that area a lot. Bill
  2. Perhaps you should go back and read what you posted. " bought two new tires. Next year I will get two more and in 2023 I will get two more that will complete a 100% change of tires before their 9th year." So do you start breaking the tires down to inspect the inside of the casing starting at year 7 like Michelin recommends? Bill
  3. Yet there you are talking about running tires longer than the accepted time. Wouldn't it be smarter to start 3 or 4 or 6 years before you need to replace them and put money aside in a savings/tire account so you will have it when you need it? On top of that you might make a little interest on the money. Bill
  4. Just curious what chassis /RV has four tag tires? Bill
  5. Most solar systems have a charge controller that will show what you are getting from the panels. Bill
  6. Then it would make sense to add "Check Propane Level" to your departure check list. I would also do like txiceman said and add a Extend-a-Stay so you can use a external tank when you are in one place for a while and save your onboard tank as a back up. I have done this with a 40 lb tank. This also lets you tap your onboard propane to power a grill or fire pit. Bill
  7. We are lucky and honard to have someone who is willing to put in the work nessacary to do that job. Bill
  8. What, My coach isn't one of those BIG giant coaches over 45 feet. It is just a small camper at 44' 11". A fun thing is I looked it up a while ago and my turning radius is 6" shorter with this one over the 38' Bounder. Carl, you should have everything fixed now. Bill
  9. That isn't that bad for Glacier. We have stayed a couple different places. Last time it was at Glacier Peaks RV Park & Campground on the west side where 40 and 2 intersect, 3185 Mt Highway 40 W, Columbia Falls, MT 59912. Not bad but realey tight. Kengineer, you might as well scratch Glacier off for this trip. You can't drive your RV on the Going to the sun road because it is to long and they don't allow bikes. The only option would be if you can get a reservation would be the Red Bus Tour's. They are great but may be to late this year to get on the list. Bill
  10. Did that last year and you see where that got me. Bill
  11. Ok I stand corrected I just never saw them and never hear of people changing them. I went and got down and looked. I think I have struts on acess doors bigger than that. I have seen the upgrade to disk breaks. Looked like a good upgrade. Bill
  12. I bet you have watched all the Utube channels with Airstream trailers. I did see they have lots of upgrades dealing with brakes and suspension. As a side question, why don't they put shocks on trailers? Bill
  13. Things have changed. https://balloonfiesta.com/ Bill
  14. Wow that is a lot of oil. I am glad my ISM only takes 40 quarts of oil. By the way I am running Shell Rotella T-6. Bill
  15. Are you talking about the ABQ area or the campgrounds? I would say no problem on either. The only thing to watch for is the campgrounds are on the acess road off I-40 on the west side of town. Just as you top the hill at the exit with the Loves. Turn right and then left on the acess road. Look at the map once you see it it is not a problem. It is down past Albuquerque RV and Camping World. I don't see any problem getting our little camper in there. Bill
  16. Welcome to the forum. Keep in mind that is probably "max" draw. Once it cools down it shuts off. It only runes enough to maintain temps. Bill
  17. pbandj.rv, welcome to the forum. I don't have any experience but the first step I would do is talk to your insurance agent. They would have current numbers. Bill
  18. Looks like most campgrounds in that part of the world. That is a big site. Bill
  19. Welcome to the forum. trojanfan25 I bet that is a 15,000 btu ducted heat pump. Can you check and let us know. The only problem is there is a shortage of roof top AC units right now. I did see PPL had some of the small 13,000 units and some of the taller (medium) height 15K BTU air-conditioned only available on the web. Well until you call. jleamont, Yes PPL is a good parts place. I have one les than 10 miles from where I garage. Bill
  20. If nothing else look for a better one. Let us know how it comes out. Bill
