  1. Welcome to the forum. Yes it is a nice park I have stayed there before. We did the Indian guided tour of the battlefield and it was very interesting. As DD said if your radiator is clean you shouldn't have any problems. (If you put your RV in your signature it will help get better answers.) Just keep an eye on your temperatures and if they start to climb just manually downshift to bring up your RPM and increase fan speed and water flow. I don't recall any major hills in that area but sometimes the long slow climbs can cause overheating especially when on cruise control. I had it happen to me one time west of Williams AZ. I was running on CC and not paying attention to close because it wasn't down shifting. Well the CC was doing it's best to maintain speed in top gear and had called for max boost and throttle to do it. I dropped down a couple of gears and was able to get everything cooed off. Long way to say just keep an eye on things and you will be fine. Bill
  2. Yes I have heard good things about the Liquid Spring setup. I heard they were coming out with a front setup. Still a little pricey for just the back ran around $12,500 installed. Till then you could add Sumo Springs to the front. https://www.supersprings.com/products/sumosprings/. You are at a point where putting that money toward a coach upgrade might make more sense or at least something to think about. jfalessi, See how well we can spend your money. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. First thing to do is weigh the coach loaded ready to travel. Compare the real weight with the posted max weight in your coach. Then check your tire pressure. I changed out my shocks on my last coach to Koni FSD shocks and they helped with the rough roads. https://www.shockwarehouse.com/news/koni-fsd-gold.cfm Bill
  4. Something to try. I would run the slide in and out 8-10 times. See if that fixes the problem before tearing things apart. Bill
  5. Erniee, I bet there is a storey in that whole process/situation. Bill
  6. Welcome to the forum. Wich Honda? what transmission? Bill
  7. I made the installation of the base plate and wiring part of the deal when I bought my CR-V. I bought a used towbar and brake buddy and had the towbar rebuilt and certified by Blue Ox at Perrey before I had anything towable 4 down. My total cost was about $550.00 to get setup to tow 4 down. Lots of used equipment out there you just have to look. Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum. I will bet You will have very little problem with a E450 based RV. I had a much older class C (mid 80s) with a ford V-8 and it was geared for the job and never had a problem. My only complaint was I wished it was/ had more gears as it was geared to low and got terrible mileage. The new V-10 engins now have more gears and get better mileage. Yes they will reve hi going up hills but it is ok. You can't over rev it. Bill
  9. Just make shure you have enough offset so they don't rub. Sad that just got Married and already involved in a recall. Bill
  10. No, it is just the little 450HP ISM. Carl has the big engine. Bill
  11. Looks better than my casino parking lot view. Bill
  12. Thank you. Just a little update. We just spent 4 days in Durant Ok. for our first real road trip. Everything went well. Now I am ready for an extended trip. Learning new systems can be a pain. New cruise in the steering wheel and I got no documentation. Finally got it sorted out. on how to increase or decrease speed. Bill
  13. Well if you would put your RV in your signature I wouldn't need to ask what RV. Bill
  14. First welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new to you coach. Are you plugged into shore power? So you don't have power to any of the tvs? Look and see if the inverter/converter is turned on. Did you test them before you brought it home? Bill
  15. I bet that a Lt tire that meets or exceeds the load carrying capacity of the trailer axle location within the approved inflation level will work just fine. So what does that have to do with anything? We are talking about replacing a ST with a LT of the same size and load carrying capacity. Bill
  16. I have used a dry silicone spray. Bill
  17. Just make sure it is just a front wheel drive. The all wheel drive can't be towed on a dolly. Bill
  18. Take care and follow doctors orders. We know you are following Lindas. I was lucky it started and I didn't have to get a jump start. Bill
  19. See you are a quick learner. Well moved the flag yesterday and moved up to Durant, OK. At the Choctaw KOA for the next few days. Bill
  20. Yet if you do it right you could squese a little more out like this Freightliner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvs5jYCMSD8 Bill
  21. I have a Coleman RoadTeck. I like it because it has it's own stand. I have been lots of places you don't have a table or any place to put a small grill. If you go for a walk through any big campground you will see maybe 50% or more grills are Coleman Road Teck. Bill
  22. Let us know, I still bet you get to it from the front over the generator. Bill
  23. I think this is something that sounds good but doesn't work out in the long run. If it did all the trucks would be using them. They get excited in 0.1 mpg increases. I have seen maybe 5 RVs and verrey few trucks and they have been out for years. Bill
  24. How fast are you driving? What milage are you getting? Lots of good information. https://www.michelinb2b.com/wps/b2bcontent/PDF/RV_Tires_Brochure.pdf They had a artical about driving for economy but I coulden't find it. Have fun looking. Some non bearing information I never knew before. Dynamometer type damage occurs in the crown area of tires when operated on dynamometers for extended periods of time. Something new to worry about. It would be nice if you put your RV in your signature. Bill
