  1. Here is from E-trailer website confirming that it must have manual shift transfer case also. Ford F-150 Flat Tow Restrictions There are no distance or speed limitations when flat towing the 2009-2010 Ford F-150. Note that only 4WD F-150 trucks may be flat towed; 2WD trucks should only be towed with all wheels off the ground. All F-150 trucks prior to the 2012 model year must also have a manual-shift transfer case in order to be flat towed, as no recreational towing is permitted with vehicles with electronic-shift transfer cases.
  2. $1200. per month sounded expensive, but $1200. per month is 14,400. in one year plus another $600. in the next year for three years protection, or another two years protection, in this case doesn't seem so bad, and considering what all you are experiencing now would really be a bargain. Hope things work out for the best for you, hindsight is 20/20 and foresight is always "?" for all of us.
  3. That would be no problem if DW is as bored as my DW!
  4. I had terrible eperiences with Good Sam, have been with AAA for 12 years now, I have the premium RV coverage with them and have had to make several calls during those years, they have always came through for me with very little displeasure. They do not come through well if you only have the low dollar automobile coverage, you must let them know that you want RV coverage, this does include all of your autos also.
  5. Saturn, one of the most popular towed vehicles among FMCA members, discontinued the original S-Series cars for 2003 and introduced the ION. Only IONs equipped with the five-speed manual transmission can be towed; those with the variable- speed automatic transmission cannot. The VUE, Saturn’s second-year SUV, also is towable only when equipped with a manual transmission. 6. In all those manuals, does it show the inverter brand and model number? Good looking coach Ray, and to think that you was about to sell the old coach and give up MH'ing, glad to see that everything seems to have worked better than expected. Many more happy tales and trails. Kay
  7. I've had very good luck with AAA, welcome to the forum.

    Unusual tire wear

In addition to Tireman9's request, I would like to know how heavy is the motorcycle, and how often does it ride on the back of the coach?
  9. Looking good! Great so see a nice coach like that being recycled.
  10. There are backup battery packs that can be added to radio or any device that you would like to not lose its memory during battery power disconnections, all that is needed is a diode in the feed to isolate so that it will not backfeed to other devices. Here uis one listed on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Memory-Data-Saver-Automotive-Emergency-Power-Supply-Cable-Battery-Cable-OBD/283750821464?hash=item4210ddee58:g:l5gAAOSwFwNeJcdX
  11. Jon, good luck with your MCI, I know you will be happy with it. Also, John Cherry is a personal friend of mine, he is the owner of Evolution coach works in White Haven Pennsylvania, who exclusively converts MCI's. Reach out to him if you should have the need, tell Kay Smith from Alabama told you to call.
  12. txtiger, I also have diabetes and have just recently learned that I can buy Walmarts brand of insulin N, R, or 70/30 across the counter with no prescription, cheaper than the copay that the insurance company mandates (oh what relief it Is). I sure hope the OP has found a good answer to his problem and gets to go full time soon.
  13. No problem, easy to do. Very hard for some people to understand the concept of an auto tracking dish, the dish has to get power from somewhere, so it is fed through the coax cable itself, the receiver does not supply power to the dish, so it uses a power inverter to the dish. Now the receiver shows that no power to the LNB, so the power inverter that we refer to is not what powers the LNB. The receiver is what does this, so no power to LNB can only refer to the coax, either disconnected or in bad condition. Often times someone may only need to unscrew the coax and reattach, both at the receiver end and at any junction (there is a junction at the power inverter) and also directly to the dish and if it goes through any type splitter. Often times the center (solid strand) of the coax will make contact with the outside of the F-connector, this causes a shorted condition and will cause the coax to fail to transfer the signals. Anyway a slight wind blowing against the coax (if at all faulty) can make the OP's condition to appear and why just removing the coax and re coupling will fix the condition temporarily. If the f connector can be identified, a new one needs to be installed in its place to help in keeping this from reoccurring. Please note the whole coax does not need to be replaced only the f-connector, a simple screw on one of these can be obtained at Walmart or any fine store that carries these type supplies, but if you can find a qualified technician that has proper tools to put on a more permanent one it would be preferred.
  14. It means you are having an issue with your power inserter. Check all cabling, make sure your power inserter is plugged in and is showing a green light. If the power inserter is plugged in and there is no green light showing, remove the cable going that is listed power to LNB. If the light comes back on, it means you have a short in the line. If that is the case just call DirecTV for service call.. Carl, above is not my answer, from ATT forum. 775 is a problem with no signal from the LNB, that is the device that is on the dish that collects the signal, there is a power inserter that supplies power to the LNB assembly, that is why coax (that is what collects the signal from the LNB). 771 is the error code produced that requires you to reboot the receiver, been with directv for 21 years and have seen both of them many times. Get help with error code 771. If you see error code 771, your dish isn't communicating with the satellite. ... Severe weather may interrupt the signal between your dish and the satellite. If you're currently experiencing heavy rain, hail, or snow, wait for it to pass to see if that fixes the issue.
  15. Most were tillotson, or carter. same principle as the ones mentioned by Brett, although they all use an electric fuel pump, maybe as simple as a fuel regulator, I've changed those out before..
  16. As docj and I said, check the coax. look for the power insert (that AC to DC adapter) that I eluded to make sure that it is working or not.
  17. Maybe more of an indication that the carburetor is the problem, under load runs fine, the carburetor maybe over fueling and causing a flooded condition, choke may be sticking, or the float/needle/seat assembly may be the culprit. 4000 gensets that I have worked on in the past had issues with flooding, float was nearly always the problem. Forgot to mention that under heavy load the genny is calling for more gas. Maybe as simple as the idle screw is out of adjustment.
  18. Some type device added in to use a fuel pressure gage?
  19. The LNB is the eye that is mounted on the dish, if yours is an enclosed dish you cannot see it. Most of these set ups has a power adapter that plugs in near the receiver (inside your coach), it should be a 120 volt to 12 volt adapter with a large device that plugs into 120 volts within your coacj, has a very small wire that goes to another device that the coax is screwed onto. Check and make sure it has not become unplugged, or has gone bad, plug another 120 volt device (lamp) or anything that is known to work elsewhere to make sure that the circuit breaker is not blown.
  20. Just last June, I experienced the same as Jerry with my Honda LP generator, it was a low water sensor causing my problem, very small leak in the radiator, as soon as the radiator went low genny would stop. Low oil sensor will also cause the genny to stop.
  21. Have you tested the fuel to make sure that wrong fuel, or water in the new fuel? One of my neighbors many years ago fueled up with diesel fuel, he drove to home (about 5 miles) and all was well, till he tried to restart it, he tried to blame the fuel station, but it was self service.
  22. I met a man with a 500 fiat manual tranny, he loved it for towing. Only equipment need was a base plate, tow bar, and lighting, either add on or kit to use present lights. E-trailer is a great place to order a kit from.
  23. Burnt valve? Or stuck lifter? Compression test needs to happen, only one cylinder flooded, carburetor doesn't only flood one cylinder and no others. Crack in the head or intake valve is the only entrance for gasoline to only enter the cylinder. Bad carb will flood all the cylinders simultaneously, unless some puddling within the intake manifold.
  24. Agreed, if that is possible, depending on the meds, some of them have come under such strict government control (especially opiods) that what was simple, has now become difficult. Hope the OP finds a good solution.
