  1. Herman. Different wording, but same thing Bill said. Get some coffee! Then read the OP & get some more coffee! Carl
  2. Joe. Rear passenger slide, 2011. Carl
  3. Lyle. There are a slew of new and used coaches out there that will meet you and your DW's dream and a little remodel of furniture, you'll be 100%! Goggle, PPL for DP's. RVTrader. Lazydays rv. MHS of Texas. That will keep you busy for a while! Carl

Thank you all, I'm in CG, Sunset Point, Marble Falls, TX. great place...will start it today, suppose to be 77 ! Carl
  5. Joe. Indelible ink (red or black), Bill's idea is also a winner! Carl
  6. Lyle. Do you have a gas/electric water heather? If so, check the anode. Also, do a smell test off the city water, I have a in line filter that I connect to water source first, then hose to coach. If your hose is on a reel it needs sanitizing once or more per year. I unroll mine completely and now run HP 3% thru it, used to be Bromide! Carl
  7. Joe. I had it on my Allegro Bus and it busted twice, in 30 months! Don't remember who makes it...POS ! I have wondered, if you have HWH to begin with on a 4 slide coach, why only have it on driver side? MSRP $400,000, Dealer cost $200,000+/- Our cost 25% to 40% off of MSRP! Carl
  8. desertdeals690, I did HP 3% in city water system and fresh tank, ran it thru my washer. It works...thank you!
  9. Renfros. Welcome to the Forum! What size is your coach? Have you spoken to Fleetwood? what amperage does your basement AC draw? If your in Texas, give a call to Texas Custom Coach at 1-830-510-4224, ask for Dave or Bill. Carl
  10. Old Marine, Brett. Totally agree! Been on 50 many times and it's a beautiful ride in a P/U truck and SUV...would not think about doing it in my coach or any coach ! Winter? Never! To grow old, a man has got to know his limitations... Carl
  11. The days of patriotic men and women of the "Hollywood" set, is long gone! Carl
  12. bgc, welcome to the Forum. The original Poster must have found the answer also! Glad we could be of help! Carl
  13. Reason I don't have one, also Land Cruiser, owners manual says it can't be towed 4 down or 2 down, need trailer! Only a Land Rover or Land Cruiser (Toyota) with manual lock out hubs can be towed....pre 1989. Carl
  14. The biggest cause of a man and a woman to have an "argument" is due to logical thought. I'm thinking that the 'Engineers' of coaches are all woman! Carl

Bill, Rich. I run my generator when I'm driving and it had only been off for 26 hours while I was at TCC. I checked the oil yesterday morning and it was OK. After the blue smoke, it worked as normal, with a full cycling load, I run with electric heater on when it's cold to me. probably "Balmy" to Joe! The last time I had a puff of blue, it quit running & I had to get new bushings installed...$890! Carl

I have a Diesel 10kw Onan with 164 hours since last service. I get it serviced at or near 150. Yesterday, when I started it up, I got a large puff of blue smoke, then it ran fine. I plan on adding oil this morning, as it will be another 20 +/- hours before I can get service! What would indicate blue smoke? Something to worry about or just cold? Outside temp was 38. Gen has 1,183 hrs. Carl
  17. Bill, I think what Herman was referring to is what kind of man it takes to be a guard, during and after! Carl
  18. FIVE. Your wrong! I'm absolutely ecstatic! $1,392.30 I'm now in a campground, weather is bad, front came in early! Carl
  19. Glad it all worked out for you! Problems occur mostly due to miss information and the coach not being built according to the electrical schematic that's in your owners manual, if it's in your manual at all. That also applies to mechanical. I had a Winnebago Tour, 07' that was built to 06' specs, even though it was built in July 07'! Carl
  20. I sent a PM to them yesterday, hope we get a response!
  21. Joe, your right on! Due to that massive void, between 2006 and 2011, the Industry is trying to re-invent it's self. A lot off cheap "BLING" to justify the price! Reed the post from FIVE about his door awning. That should not be an issue on a 14' Eagle!!! Carl
  22. Joseph, welcome to the Forum! Under Chassis, maintenance, there is a post by WILDBILL 17 Jan 16. He included a very informative link. It will cover most all of your concerns! Carl
  23. I have found that I like best a system that I don't have to remove each time I need to use Toad! Cost effective? I have not found one...when it is mandated by law & it's a special application, forget about cheap! I have had Brake master, got to remove. Currently I use Invisa brake and like it. The others that was mentioned are all good. Carl
  24. Update. Got in at 10:15 this morning and my list off things to fix is done! The plastic wings on front window are curing overnight and will be put back on tomorrow, the front windshield is also curing. Came to find out that the original owner of coach had a new front windshield installed at some point and they did a lousy job on removal (there are 4 bolts/nuts on each wing, 3 on each was broke off) and installation. My windshield was barely attached and would have fallen off real soon! They removed it, scraped the mounting clean and re mounted it with the correct adhesive. I watched and they explained every step of the way...a very informative day!!! 7 hrs. including an hour for lunch! One thing that got my full attention today, everyone in the shop was eager, fast, professional and happy! Nobody was negative in any way and it showed in their work! All that I had done here, would have taken a month or more at Lazydays in FL. I recommend Texas Custom Coach to anybody that need major work done if your in this part of Texas! I'm a happy camper! Carl
