  1. Yea, not to be done all in one day or week! I would replace all wet batteries! Un Official rule...Peace of Mind!!! Carl
  2. I got the same system now. The only problem is how to keep it off the ground and proper angle for max. drainage! Not big on carting rocks or wood around, due to weight! So what else can one use, that's light and stable? The only thing that comes to mind, is plastic leveling blocks (stackable). Carl
  3. For me it's time to bite the bullet. Belts, coolant, cleaning the CAC and fan. change oil and filters on generator! As far as engine oil is concerned, I do it every 16,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first. Also, what is the age of your tires? Never mind the tread, go by DOT# and check for hair line cracks on sidewall. 6 to 8 years and you need new tires! You don't need to go to Spartan...I use Cummins Coach Care! Become a member of Cummins Power Club and save 10%. Travel safe Carl
  4. Power glide is serviced by Freightliner!
  5. If there is no water, then take a house and attach to cold water in laundry room...ask manager first, before moving coach! Then fill up water tank. A little effort for comfort and a happy DW ! Carl
  6. Inspection on Jeep, $25.00, Coach $7.00 Lic. plate, Jeep $62.00, Coach $822.25 Texas goes by weight and DMV made a typo of 56,000# on mine! I'm still battling and have sent all papers to Austin...maybe they will send me a refund? Not!! Carl
  7. Puff. I try hard the first time! At 6' 8", going under a slide is always painful...so. if I forget something that I can't live without, I pull the slide back in! Carl
  8. I would get with Norman, It's a "pass it on" thing that we do! Carl
  9. There will be plenty of WCC at Perry! Just pray for sun! Soggy cheese and crackers are no joy!
  10. Joe. I bought a used 97' Allegro from PPL in 02'...nice, pleasant experience! Very professional. Patron, welcome to the Forum! Not the first time I've heard good things about RV World of GA.! Carl
  11. Hi. Under slideout in this forum...Sept. 15', there are 11 posts dealing with your issue. Mine went away and came back last month...I might need a slide adjustment. Carl
  12. Hi all. I'll be there the 16th...be in 50amp Governance section. Wine, cheese and crackers! Carl
  13. Herman. Thanks, but I'm now committed to TCC. They have a coach like mine and are doing to it, what must be done with mine...seems to be a common occurrence with the 10', 11' & 12' Tradition! Will be there the 20th and they can see what else is on my wish list...since the are in a slow period, they will start on mine the 25th. I will be in Perry by the 17th of March, then I will have my teeth removed (unless they fall out by themselves)! Carl
  14. Joe, be careful. With all the remodel your doing this winter, you'll have nothing to do next year! When you get it in, please post a picture! I have a sofa that I want to replace with something as I don't need 2! Good Luck Carl
  15. CW today, is a high volume corporation. I personally think that they don't care much for repeat customers! Buy the RV, send them on their way and hope we don't see them again! Since Mr. Lemonies bought CW and Good Sam, it's been one big con job! Headquarters is no longer in Kentucky, it's now in Colorado and you can't reach a person for help!! There are so many good RV parts stores out there now, that I have no need for CW anymore and that is sad...first visit was in 74'. PPL for parts and used RV's is great! Service in house is great! Thankfully PPL is in Texas! Carl
  16. Thank you Bill. I have seen them over the years, but no work done. Would be nice to have another option, besides Fl. or Factory! Carrl
  17. Can't be any worse than all the rest! I'm getting them tomorrow...let you know in 17' !
  18. No one going to Springfield, Mass for FMCA rally? Shame!
  19. Herman. I hope to make Perry, just depends on 2 things...fixing coach and new teeth! Swing doors are nice, I try to get everything out of bays before slides are out...don't always work out. Carl
  20. I will be in Pipe Creek (Bandera), Texas the 20th and will be stopping by TCC to see if they can fix some things for me...If they can, it will save me a trip to "balmy" Decatur, Ind. Have anybody had work done or know someone who has, that can give me a pro/con on TCC? Body work and paint. Carl
  21. Herman & Joe! Nice, just a tad more than a Fleetwood! Carl
  22. When I had my 8 Michelins replaced in Oregon, August 2014, the dealer did the call. My F# and CC#. took 5 minutes...saved about $ 1,600 + no sales tax! If I still have the coach in 20' or 21', I'll do it again.
  23. Check for debris between slide out and slide awnings. Keep the mud dabbers out. Wine, cheese, Doritos and more wine!
  24. Thanks for reminding me Puff! Way back, when there was no "slinky" or Camping World, we would use PVC or aluminum pipe to store sewage hose on/or under back bumper! I like your gutter system, so I'll get that tomorrow. as I'm home now, but will be at a rally next week...have a bunch of the ball bungees! Carl
