  1. Regarding the leaking valve, is the leak at the stem, if so has the packing nut been tightened?
  2. We do many Walmarts however we prefer Sam's Club because they close at night and it is quieter and they open at 7 in the morning 6 days a week so we go in and have coffee and a roll and do our shopping.
  3. I had a leak that I traced to under the shower. I found that it leaked when taking a shower. It was the drain where it seats against the fiberglass. I loosed the big nut and put plumbers putty around the flange and that sealed it.
  4. I was told by Spartan to go down a steep long grade and intermittently apply the brakes hard to heat them up.
  5. I did the Airdog system with the filters and its own return line to the tank. I also changed the vp44 pump because the new to me coach had been run without the stock lift pump and it didn't perform as it should.
  6. They will work however the useable power in terms of time of discharge will be somewhat shorter because of the construction of the battery. Marine batteries are generally structurally stronger because of the beating they have to withstand in rough seas. They are not true deep cycle.
  7. I was told by a VP that there were about 2000 signed up.
  8. What brand and model inverter do you have?
  9. The batteries of Tire Minder transmitters seem to last at least a year, mine are left installed all the time. I replace the batteries about once a year.
  10. On my Discovery the gasket on the inside of the opening at the edge had fallen out of place. The only way to reach it was to open the slide until about 6 inches from all the way and remove the flange on the edge of the slide so you can access the gasket area.
  11. I believe you can pull out the morning of the 11th.
  12. The location of the booster doesn't seem to be that critical. I have installed them in all of the above mention locations and it works fine. On my current coach it is installed in the battery compartment which is on the drivers side second from the rear. I did use the tie straps.
  13. I think I have the same system in my 98 Discovery. Does the control look like a mirror image, left half to right half? What happens if you switch the control to another position?
  14. The only way to tell is to go out and do what you want to do and see how long it last. Then you can modify your usage and charge routine as needed.
  15. I have been using Fullriver 6 volt AGM's for 2 years and they seem to work fine. The one thing I notice is that the voltage is a little lower than my previous flooded batteries but the staying power is good.
  16. Usually the inverter/charger is only connected to the house batteries. You could use an isolator and hook up the solar charge controller so it would charge both sets of batteries.
  17. We are inside a heated shop until it the weather clears up.
  18. We are in the Elkhart area now picking up our new to us coach which we just had painted. Watching the weather with the ice storm coming I think we will leave Monday, going south to I70 at Indy then down I44 to I40 and on to Arizona.
  19. I just replaced a 24 inch crt with a Vizio 43 inch 4K M series. I also installed a 38 inch sound bar with 3 inputs including blue tooth. I hinged it from the top of the existing cabinet and used gas struts to hold it up as well as down. I also installed a 40 inch Samsung, that is only 1.2 inches thick, in the bed room which had a 19 inch crt.
  20. I parked a guy at a rally that had a full monitoring system in his coach. Through his smart phone he could see inside and outside and monitor temp, start gen, turn air or heat on, lock doors, etc.
  21. Make sure that there is no air leak on the suction side.
  22. On my new to me coach I used the area under the propane tank to hang the spare. Didn't use any storage compartment space.
  23. You can unbolt the linkage and tie it up. Did you check the fuse? If the motor is ok you can disconnect the motor wires and jump it.
