  1. I arrived at my daughters, am using my Wilson unit that was waiting for me. I have no service to 1 bar and when I turn on the booster I have 5 bars.
  2. Wilson makes a variety of products that boost signal. I was in a campground without any usable service on my Verizon iPhone. My neighbor had a Wilson 271201 amp and I put my phone next to it and I had 5 bars. I will ordered one and will pick it up at my daughters in 2 days when we get to her home in Oregon City.
  3. We were just there and traveled on foot to several islands. Most everything is within walking distance of the ferry dock.
  4. Check to see if there is power to the jack solenoids.
  5. It may be the speed resistor, it should be located in the air chamber.
  6. We've stayed a Watchmans in Zion and the national campground at the Grand Canyon.
  7. Its also handy for monitoring the temp after a hard pull before shutting down the engine.
  8. Be sure to get a smart charger, I have seen batteries boil with 2 amp fixed charge rate.
  9. In my RV repair shop we have corrected the problem by installing a steel pipe with short hose coupling at each end. If the original hose is more than 18 inches or so and is slightly too long it may be sagging in the middle. We use exhaust pipe, usually 1 1/2 inch and do the appropriate pipe bends at each end to align with the tank and fill nipples. Make sure the vent hose has no dips in it.
  10. I would check the ignition relay. I had similar symptoms and it was the relay. Be sure to replace with a continuous duty one.
  11. Sams Club uses batteries from Johnson Controls in the west and East Penn back east. East Penn offers AGM golf carts at a reasonable price. Solar panels are great if you go where the sun shines!
  12. For information. I installed a Haier 10 cu ft residential refrigerator. I bought it from Lowes and was told it would work in a motorhome. After 3 months of use the compressor failed. I called the factory and was told that there is no warranty because it was installed in a rv. I had called them when I was installing it to see if I could disable the auto defrost so it wouldn't use so much current. They said no, but they never said that I couldn't use it in an rv. Fortunately they record all calls to the factory because when I told them to look it up they agreed to cover it under warranty. They are going to credit Lowes for a new one and hopefully I will get my money back. I have done some research on other brands and have in writing that they will cover their refrigerators in a motorhome.
  13. If you have Tire Minder transmitters there is a tool to install and remove the transmitter on the outer dual. It is possible to turn the stem around.
  14. With the intake hose off reach in and see if there is any side play on the turbine shaft. Should rotate freely but no end or side play.
  15. We like Voyager in Tucson. They have everything.
  16. What model and brand is your TVs, off air antenna, and sat receiver?
  17. Why don't you call Roadmaster and see if they know anything about it?
  18. As far as I know, the van with all wheel drive cannot be towed on a dolly. I have towed, on a dolly, several front wheel drive Chrysler and Dodge minivans without problems.
  19. Yes you can, but you have to limit your usage to lower than the circuit breaker.
  20. I don't have either. I use 2 camping sleep mats from Walmart and 4 6 ft bungee cords to cover the front of my Silverado. Not one mark in 150k miles including Alaska. Total cost $25.
  21. Check with the Winnebago salvage store down the street from the factory.
  22. How about using your cell phone? We use ours all the time now.
