  3. Skyking, ChewBear is correct. on my 2002 Dynasty the panel is just where CB said. It isn't hard to open. You should have a round security key and a lock on both lower corners. Herman
  4. Wayne, That would be really up to you. I have my truck that I take the Golf Cart in. I am furnished a cart, being a Parking Crew Leader. The wife uses our cart for helping with a friend of ours. We use the truck for Shopping, touring and eating. There are Trams and trolleys running all over the grounds and are heavily used. And by the way if it is your decision to go with Generator only there are Honey wagons and potable water available . As I say, car or cart, it would be totally up to you. Hope to see you there. Herman
  5. Pazahora, The first thing I would do would be to get out and really look the site over. Checking for Tables, trash cans, tree limbs, fire pits & Stands. Know the site before you try to maneuver into it. Several cones would work for me. Place them in several location in the site. Not knowing your coach it would be hard to say how to secure anything to it. One thing you might do would be to put some sort of tube in the wheel well just behind the wheel. There you could insert a flag or brightly colored stick or rod and place a cone where you would like to stop. That away when the flag touches the cone , you are there. But my best advice would be "To know the site before you try to park". Good luck, Herman
  6. Norm, got a PM Personal Message coming your way. Herman
  7. Again innuendos, but still funny. Herman
  8. I have possibility a stupid question. I understand needing power for a Brake Buddy's pump. But when you must leave the key on to be able 1) unlock the steering wheel and 2) be able to move the shifter into Neutral , Does the Odometer rack up the milage? Herman
  9. "mine were between my legs under the steering column" Sorry Keon, I couldn't help myself from laughing when I got that picture in my mind. Herman
  10. My second and third coaches came with Braided Hoses and were secured to brackets on the center hub cover. If there ever was a leak it was a really slow one. Herman
  11. Welcome to the Forum, Good information. Herman
  12. hendrix, Welcome to the Forum. A call or email to Monaco tomorrow would be where I would begin. 800-634-0855 or 541-686-8011 / monacocoach.com I would also look into why the screw got enough moisture to cause the Rusting. Herman
  13. Skyking, Welcome to the Forum. Let us know what part of this wonderful country you are located. There are a number of excellent shops that do good work all over. In my area there are two that come to mind. and the are both in Nacogdoches, Texas. Xtreme Graphics and Foretravel. In fact James Stallings owner of Xtreme was the lead painter at Foretravel . Both great companies and great people. And you are correct $$$. Herman

    Skid Wheels

David, Do you keep the coach at your home or have storage somewhere else? Rollers (if the chassis has a strong mounting location) might take too much weight off the drive wheels and get you stuck. IMHO boards might not help since by the time the drive wheels get to them the rear is most likely already dragging. Air bags for me would be the best solution. With the onboard pump, gauge and switch you could adjust the height just before pulling in the drive and dump after pulling out. Hope you find the solution that works for you. Let us know Herman
  15. williames, Check your area for RV Salvage yards. You may find just what you need at one of them. Herman
  16. weeksea, Welcome to the Forum. I think Winegard's Dish Satellite is also compatible with Bell and Shaw. That would be the Winegard Dish 1000 Trav'ler The Winegard Trav'ler for Direct is only compatible with Direct. To the best of my knowledge. Herman
  17. Had an issue with the shop that has done all of the maintenance on our coach since we have owned it (7 Years). Had the drag line go bad due to lack of lube. The zerk fitting was in a location that was really hard to get to with out turning the wheels. It got neglected. I have great confidence in the shop so I showed them the drag link. They agreed their neglect was partially responsible and gave me 2 Full PM Services to help cover my expense and said they would coulsel the personal on this. We all make mistakes, but on a Motor Home they can be costly. Herman
  18. You'll may be correct. When I was on the road in my job and price of gas was up in the $3.50 to $3.75 range some places were $100 and some $75.00 cut offs. It just may have been the stations. Herman
  19. Ed Go to the fmca.com home page, Click on Magazine and select TOWING Guide. There you will find the guide for 2018 vehicles. Herman
  20. I know it is a far stretch from Maryland but there are three really good Pre-owned RV sales here in Texas. In Alverado (just south of Ft. Worth) Motor Home Specialties www.mhsrv.com. In Nacogdoches there is Motor Homes of Texas, www.motorhomesof texas.com. And in Houston there is PPL, www.pplmotorhomes.com. All of these are consignment sales dealers. Your are correct pictures can be deceiving but it is at least a place to start. Beware of Pets and or smokers. If you find High mileage and pristine interior it may have been used just from a lot of point A to point B. Low mileage and rough interior it may have been used for going south for the winter and back north for the summer and really lived in. Please don't take my commits as gospel they are just my opinions. Hope you find just what you and the DWs would like.
  21. Worked my rear end off getting mine to shine. Was a lot of hard work. Last time in Perry I had the coach washed and had them do the wheels. They charged me $100.00 to do the wheels, best money I had spent in a long time. Sorry I can't remember the name but I will find them when there next year. All I can remember was he was in a white van and was from Florida. Herman
