  1. Giovanni, If you are going to Minot in August, give ShadePRO a call, 800-328-5100. Tell them what you want and they can have it there in Minot and install it for you. That way you get to go to a GREAT RALLY and get your new automatic awning. Herman
  2. Next time I am driving my Funny Car at 200 mph and feel like I need a fire I now know where to go to get my starter. Herman
  3. Tim, sounds to me like you have a relay, ground or solenoid issue. If you have a wiring diagram check where all the grounds are and if you have a relay or solenoid. Good luck, Herman
  4. See there is more than eating. I knew you would know what else there was to see and do But the food sounds great. Herman
  5. I have a son that is the General Manager for a motor cycle dealer in Cheyenne Wyoming. We were recently talking about the difficulties in getting folks to work knowing that it is seasonal work. In the motor cycle industry, the problem is experience and knowledge. I had a thought, "How about retires". We have lots of folks that go South for the Winter and North for the Summer. They enjoy their different location but get bored with nothing to do. So I thought that I would put the word out to RVers that are in the Cheyenne area for the summer and have skills in mechanic, make ready, sales and or parts to give me a PM. If not this for this year maybe next year. So if you go North in the Summer, in the Cheyenne area and are bored, there might be a place to kill some time and maybe make a little gas money for you trip back South when the Northern cold comes. Thanks for listening to an old dad that thought he might help his son and others. Herman
  6. Got to love it, Jack45 asked about things to do in Boothbay Maine area. All the responses have been about places to get baked goods, Italian food, Lobster and so forth. Not one museum, local attraction just Food. I know what this crowds priorities are, Food. Herman
  7. JG, Welcome to the Forum. Are we Talking about the Roof air conditioning unit or the dash air? Dash air does have a charging port, Most all Roof Top A/Cs do not. Herman
  8. Chris, as far as I know the Newmar Comfort Drive System is prioritized to Newmar and can not be moved to another coach. Herman
  9. Since you are plugging into a 20 amp beaker check to see if by some chance one of your A/Cs might have left turned on. If so that might cause the breaker to pop. Herman
  10. How dirty are the blades on you plug? Dirty Blades and or loose connections can cause a world of troubles. Herman
  11. I agree Jim I would just consider it one of the quirks of a RV. We all have them and just learn to live with them. I know that ever now and then a grimlin will come along and plug my power cable back on after I know I have stowed it, I think.😉 Herman
  12. Is there any way to have a friend with a truck back it in when you get to the Lake? I know a lot of folks said "No Problem" on the boat forum, but are you willing to risk your MH? Herman
  13. I did about the same thing as DD69 but have DISH, I have a Dish Hopper 3 mounted in a front cabinet with a "Wireless Joey" for the back TV. With the wireless I didn't have any extra wires to run. I also removed the switch box and wired every thing direct just like I have at home. With this setup we can record and watch at the same time or set it to record while we are away. Works for us. Herman
  14. KL, on my Cummins you need to turn the key on for 5 to 6 second several times. That is what prime the lines and filter. It may not help on your Cat but works for my Cummins. Herman
  15. Pat, Welcome to the Forum. If you can come to the FMCA rally in Minot ND in August. You can call a company by the name of "Shade Pro" tell them what you have and need They will bring it to Minot and install it for you there. You will be a double winner. Get your awning fixed and go to a great Rally at the same time. Herman
  16. WELCOME TO ALL FIRST TIMERS TO THE FORUM. You have just joined one of the best Forum there is for all RVers. Here are a few items that might help you get the best answer to what ever help you may need. 1. It is not a good thing to post your email address or phone number. If someone wants to contact you personally they can PM (Personal Message) you. 2. When asking a question about your RV, please list the Make, Model, Year, Length, Gas, Diesel, Towable or any other information that may help someone help you with your question or issue. 3. There is No Dumb questions. Whatever you ask someone out there has "Been There, Done That and Got a Tee Shirt For It". (one of my favorite quotes) 4. Questions on travels, give details. Where you are looking to go to, what highways are best, any great sights to see, ect. 5. Put your information in your signature. 6. Let us know where your from. Then someone from your area might know the best place for you in your area. 7. Let us know if you are a Veteran, a First Responder, Active or retired. We loved those that wrote open check to our Great Country. No doubt others that will respond to this Topic and add more helpful hints. So again, Welcome to the Forum. Herman
  17. Norman, Welcome to the forum. At a lot of big truck stops the are for the lack of a better word, "Chrome Shops". They have lots of items to make a truck and you Motorhome shine. Give them a look see. If you can't find it there you might Google 'RV Salvage Yards", I know you can find a center cap at one of them. Good luck and again Welcome. Herman

  21. Sounds like Bobbie on a cruise. She thought she had international calling set on her phone. Like yourself, boy was she shocked. Keep on enjoying your tour. Herman
  22. Ross got there while I was tying. Herman
  23. Check out your 12 volt fuse panel. You will have a relay if electric and a solenoid if air. If air and you have a Smart Wheel it could also be in your control box. Herman
