  1. Happy New Year. That would be under the bathroom sink and shower. Look for cracked drain pipe for the sink and shower or outher leaks. Also look for water dripping around the commode. Bill
  2. Happy New Year. Fill your fuel tank before you cross into Canada. 😉 If you are going to be in the area you absolutely need to visit Hansom House this restaurant. It is in a great old house that belonged to one of George Washington's Generals. It is only open on Friday and Saturday. You need to see this place. 45 Main St, Beautiful Yellow Farmhouse, Dennysville, ME 04628-4300, +1 207-726-4466 The bar is a re-creation of the famous bar of the same name in Southampton, Long Island and run by the original owner. The stain glass and ceiling sculpture are unlike anything you might have seen before. https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g40591-d8526013-Reviews-Hansom_House-Dennysville_Maine.html Don't miss Ray's Mustard in Eastport. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum and Happy New Year. What does the owner's manual say under "recreational towing"? I don't believe the 2019 FMCA towing guide is available yet. You can also check http://www.remcotowing.com and see what they say. I don't know if/what has changed between 2018-19. Bill
  4. ???? there is a place called Seabreeze about every 2ed mile on the North East coast and which St. Stephen? If you are in the Eastport area you should stop at Roosevelt Campobello International Park. The last time I was in the area we stayed at Seaview Campground & Cottages, 16 Norwood Rd, Eastport, ME 0463, eastportmaine.com, (207) 853-4471. The most eastern (Down East) place you can camp in the US. Make shure you have a rider for your phone service. You could pick up a Canadian tower and not know it. Bill
  5. Try taking out the 2 drawers under the tv in the bedroom this should let you see the water heater and connections. There is/should be a acess panel in the closet where the leaver is for bypassing the water heater. But it is easier to pull the drawers to look. Bill
  6. We will need input from someone smarter than me on this but I think with the one way diodes the coach will see this as a simple "loade/draw" and not a battery to keep charged. Bill
  7. Here is my standard setup for colder weather travel. inverter.... on Furnace.... on Water heater....on Refrigerator.... on Generator....off Any questions? Bill
  8. Do you have any pictures of the delaminated area on the Alpha? Bill
  9. So the steering wheel will turn. 😉 I don't have enough knowledge to make a good answer. I think you may still have some parasitic drain. With my new battery I have gone 8+ hours without starting the car and was ok, I just like to start it when we stop for lunch. Bill
  10. I think it is a combination of both. There are parasitic drains on the Toad just because the key is in acc. I have heard some with the onboard navigation are worse. I have a draw from my old Brake Buddy as it runs to keep the air preshure up. Lots of variables to all this. Things like how sensitive do you have the brakes set up? The more it activates the more the pump runs. I also check after set up that it is not pushing on the brake pedal enough to turn on the car brake lights when at rest. The size of the battery is a defiant contributor to the problem. The stock original is smaller than the one in my lawn tractor. I haven't had a problem since I replaced the original. But I do like to run the toad when we stop for lunch.😉 Bill
  11. Welcome to the forum, something to look at. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2005-travel-supreme-select_rv-39092 Something else nice. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2001-foretravel-unicoach_rv-40285 Look around on that site they have more. like this Monaco. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2005-monaco-diplomat_rv-40631 Let me know what you think. Bill
  12. Well you are right. What Are the New Regulations? The current EPA regulations are based on requirements started in California by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) in 2000 and were updated in 2007. At that time, regulation of PFC design (PFC =Portable Fuel Containers) and manufacture was controlled by individual states, but that changed with the current EPA standards. As of January 1, 2009, all new PFCs produced and sold in the United States must be compliant with the EPA regulations. The regulations require: A single, self-venting opening for filling and pouring with no separate vents or openings. A permeation-resistant container that permits no more than 0.3 grams per gallon per day of hydrocarbon emissions. Automatic closure, such as a nozzle that automatically springs to the closed position when the user is not pouring from the container Childproof features as outlined by the Children’s Gasoline Burn Prevention Act. So go camping and have fun. Bill
  13. Have you seen the steel roofing that looks like the clay tile? It is steel covered in tar and small stones like a shingle. Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum Danny. This is a test answer. Did I get it right?😄
  15. That is quite a bit of capacity. I am wondering what you find that works on the inverter. What size is your inverter? Bill
  16. Glad you found the problem. Changing the thermostat should be a fairly easy job. Bill
  17. You guys are going to scare the OP into not moving for fear of a low bridge. The reality is if you stay on main roads you have few problems. The only problems I have had are on state or county roads. Bill
  18. Ok Herman I re read next to last sentence. When I plug in I always use my portable Surge Guard. That always gives me a delay and it won't arc because there is no draw for about 90 sec. I would think it would work the same way if you had a hard mounted unit. I am just happy when the receptacle is in good enough condition to make good contact. I had one up in Main that the receptacle was so loose and in a deep box that the plug didn't want to stay plugged in. I finally used a bungee cord to hold the plug in place. Carl what is the name of that park in Tyler, TX.? Bill
  19. Were you able to clean up the prongs on the plug? Bill
  20. Jim, with that many house batteries there is a chance you can operate the stove off the inverter. One way to find out, (well ok 2 ways) turn off external power and see if it works or read the owner's manual/instructions. 😄 Like Joe said the, only real way to find out how long you can go on your battery bank is to experiment as everyone's setup is different. Bill
  21. We will try to get ready. Where are you headed in Texas. Bill
