What made you chose that one? Have you stayed there before? Bill

San Jacinto Museum of History and in the same area Battleship Texas State Historic Site. Not a long drive. Padre Island National Seashore. See it now as you can't drive the length of Padre Island there is a ship channel with no bridge. You can see south Padre Island when staying in the valley. Try Dirty Al's at Pelican Station just before you go across the bridge. Last time in the valley stayed at Texas Trails RV Resort, West Owassa Road, Pharr, TX. Stop and see a exact copy of the Iwo Jima Monument. Iwo Jima Monument, 320 Iwo Jima Blvd, Harlingen, TX 78550 Bill

What is that lever on the right side, the one sticking up out of the floor, is that the ejection seat lever? 🤩 Yes everything should be laid out for easy use. Bill -

Yes drying it is going to be important step in doing the repairs. Bill -
So what's your point? I still think it is smarter to use the sand from dredging the ship canal to build up the public beach rather than hauling it to deep water and dumping it then than paying to truck it in. 😄 Bill

Yes, I thought he was looking more North. In Google maps the park is still under construction. I had to go to Google earth pro to see where the place he was standing was. I agree you are seeing mosquito pond road mosquito pond then goulf. The last time I was there they were actually doing something smart. They had been dredging the ship channel and hauling the sand out to deep water and dumping it. Now they were pumping it up on the beach along the seawall to build up the beach. This seems to be better than paying to truck it in. Bill

Yes that is salt water. It is called West Bay. Something I forgot earlier is you can take the ferry for free and see the dolphins or pay $$ for a boat tour to see them. You can park and just ride the ferry on the upper deck. "everything is elevated here." Yep they got tired of replacing everything every year.😉 I bet Carl's place is elevated to. Bill

Carl, just remember it isn't the cost of the printer but how much expensive ink they can sell you. Bill
-
srflorie, You didn't say what printer you had so I can't do a comparison, but I have been buying printer ink for my HP printer from LD Products on Amazon. They have toner as well. You might want to do a price comparison with them. Bill

Refrigerator cooling solution "gelled"
wildebill308 replied to DJSafariCoach's topic in Systems and Appliances
What are you using for indirect heat? You might find this helpful. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyJuSbfo8Aw You might try more or less tape over the vents. See if you have vents at the top. I would probably try a hair dryer to speed up the warming being careful to make it a fairly even heat. Bill- 26 replies

Hoover Dam and Carlsbad RV Parking
wildebill308 replied to Stvrhoades's question in Destinations/Attractions
Absolutely amazing, take the tour to the bottom of the dam and through the area where the generators are. Bill -
I couldn't resist. You are right it is good to have a map available so you can tell where you are and the way the storms are moving. It doesn't do you any good if they say the tornado is in X and moving north if you don't know where you are. It is good to find you are in the opposite direction. 😉 Bill

Kay, isn't it hard to see the map program with it running behind you like that?🤩 Bill

Looking good!!! Yes another member has to use Richard because you can't enter ****. Bill

pooled water around driver's seat: 2000 Discovery
wildebill308 replied to SueCanDo's topic in Slideouts
Lots of good suggestions. I have found that sometimes when you bring the slide in and it stops it will, "relax a little" (for want of a better term) and not be tight against the seals. Try bumping the slide in a couple of times and see if it stayes tight against the seals. I have had this happen both going in and out. You might try a carpet shampooer or wet vac to pull the excess water out of the carpet and pad. Bill -
Welcome to the forum. We will overlook that you know jleamont Nice coach. Bill
