  1. I run Shell Rotella T-6 5-40 in both the generator and coach. I get good reports on my oil samples. I only sample the coach now as I don't use the generator as much and if it breaks it won't strand me. Bill

  4. What is the temperature where you are? How long has it ben below freezing? Are you running the furnace for heat? What faucet are you opening to see if the pump is working? Do you have the water pump turned on at the main power panel? Do you have a IR digital thermometer, They are helpful for trouble shooting temperature issues. Bill

  6. Welcome to the forum and 2018. Is it the whole paint job or just the shield on the front? If it is the whole paint I would be deducting the cost of a good paint job from what they want. Or I would be looking else ware. Bill
  7. Jim, does it crank? does it crank as fast as normal? Can you check fuel pressure? Have you changed the fuel filter's? Make sure all the electrical connections are good including ground. Let us know what you find. Bill

  10. Ken, that is a good setup. I like to run a little water to flush out the campground pipes before I hook the hose to my carbon filer. I have gotten some nasty water when first turning on the campground water. The other thing I didn't see mentioned was a pressure regulator. Bill

Don’t let them put you down by the river. To noisy as there were lots of big speed boats running up and down the river. Look at it on Google Earth. Bill

  22. The gage you are looking for is a Exhaust Gas Temperature Gage or EGT. The sensor is installed in the exhaust before the turbo. I won't drive a (diesel) coach with out one. They provide a wealth of information on how your engine is performing. Bill
  23. You can look at the difference using this tool. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ with the 275 tires you gain 1.8 mph at 60 so you have a little overdrive. Bill
