  1. I just thought of a good one. Eat well and travel often. I have always liked the one Roosevelt had for the Rough Riders, "There is no place as to far and no such thing as to ready." Bill
  2. Welcome to the forum and 2018. Is it the whole paint job or just the shield on the front? If it is the whole paint I would be deducting the cost of a good paint job from what they want. Or I would be looking else ware. Bill
  3. Jim, does it crank? does it crank as fast as normal? Can you check fuel pressure? Have you changed the fuel filter's? Make sure all the electrical connections are good including ground. Let us know what you find. Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum and 2018. With that little information I don't know but as others have said I would contact Remo www.remcoindustries.com/product-pages/towing/ Bill
  5. Well at this point I would use these apps to try and find a place. https://www.rvparky.com/, and http://www.rvparkreviews.com/ To start looking That area is prime Snowbird country. I would also look in the Rio Grande Valley (Texas) if you are looking for warm places. Let us know what you find out. Bill
  6. Ken, that is a good setup. I like to run a little water to flush out the campground pipes before I hook the hose to my carbon filer. I have gotten some nasty water when first turning on the campground water. The other thing I didn't see mentioned was a pressure regulator. Bill
  7. When did you make reservations? Bill
  8. Are your jacks hydraulic? You may have low fluid causing the alarm. Bill

(this is a “original R66 motel that the new owners are making into a RV park. Minimum accommodations but was close to Petrified forest.) Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, 601 W Franklin Ave, Williams, AZ 86046, thetrain.com , (800) 843-8724 If you can’t get into The RV park at the Grand Canyon this is where I have stayed. Nice park. Fender's River Road Resort & Motel, 3396 Needles Hwy, Needles, CA 92363, fendersresort.com , (760) 326-3423. This was a overnight stop because they had space. Don’t let them put you down by the river. To noisy as there were lots of big speed boats running up and down the river. Look at it on Google Earth. Bill
  10. Ok Ok after a short side trip to the Ozarks you can visit a real Indian Pueblo just to the West of ABQ. Acoma Pueblo and Sky City Cultural Center/Haak'u Museum Haaku Rd, Acoma Pueblo, NM 87034, acomaskycity.org, (505) 552-7861 This is a interesting place and is historically accurate as it has ben continuously occupied since around 1100. Bill
  11. I have to ask. What is the Northern route to go south? Bill
  12. One thought, stop in Little Rock at the Down Town RV park and visit the Clinton Presidential library. clintonlibrary.gov Now if you don't want to do the Pigeon Forge area, how about the New River gorge area Canyon Rim Visitor Center, 162 Visitor Center Rd, Lansing, WV 25862, nps.gov, (304) 574-2115 Bill
  13. More old threads, If you read through you will see that many self insure for exactly this reason. Bill
  14. Now it would be helpful if you put your info into your signature. See Carl's and Herman's above for examples. Bill
  15. I think it just helps them to find the openings. Bill
  16. More like some are just guessing till the final version on the implementation regs. are written. Bill
  17. Thanks O great one. We hope you didn't catch anything to make you move quickly in your travels. If so let's hope it is deductible. Bill
  18. The gage you are looking for is a Exhaust Gas Temperature Gage or EGT. The sensor is installed in the exhaust before the turbo. I won't drive a (diesel) coach with out one. They provide a wealth of information on how your engine is performing. Bill
  19. You can look at the difference using this tool. https://tiresize.com/comparison/ with the 275 tires you gain 1.8 mph at 60 so you have a little overdrive. Bill
  20. I think it would be a good idea to set the ride height so the bags in front are at the exact same height. This is what I think is happening. When one bag is higher it is carrying more weight. They may be the same pressure but the taller bag will start lifting the weight on the front faster than the shorter bag. This is why the first thing they do when working on the front end is to adjust the ride hight. Bill
  21. Yes one of the only ones I have has that I thought was edible. Bill
  22. Depending on how cold it is I would run the block heater from 2-4 hours before start or if riley cold overnight. I would replace the thermostats with the proper temperature ones. By the way Cat calls them "regulators". "Had to clean the CAC and Radiator" This should be a at least yearly maintence item. The furnaces can't put moisture into the air if it is operating properly. The combustion chamber is separate from the air going into the coach. Cooking, showering and any open flame will add moisture. No heat pumps don't put out heat below about 45 deg. Bill
  23. www.enchantedtrails.com/about_us.html Has one. Bill
