  1. Congratulations, now you need to update your signature. Bill
  2. Where are you talking about trimming? Where it goes into the receiver on the coach? That won't get you any where because the top receiver is hitting the coach and won't allow you to move the hole forward to pin up. Carl, how does that help the OP. He already has the part. Bill
  3. Like Herman said the plug on the hot water heater is easy to remove. I am pretty shure it is plastic. Be shure to turn the hot water heater off first. This is a good time to flush all the sediment out of the bottom of the hot water tank. You should have low point drains for both hot and cold in the area by the water pump or in the wet bay not far from the city water connection. Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum. Are your ball joints, tierode ends worn out? I heard of some one cleaning and greasing them and wrapping with shrink tape as a replacement to the dust covers. If they are still good I would try that first. Actually on thinking about it I would do the tape first then grease. Bill
  5. All I see is a bunch of knee jerk reaction to a non event. So please explain what will change. All I see is a bunch of knee jerk reaction to a non event. Bill
  6. With no more info it sounds like a bad ignition switch. Bill
  7. Welcome to the forum. Just wondering, if you don't want to be a associated with tow behind's why are you a Elite member in the GS club? How exactly is this going to effect the Thor Diesel Owners Club? They would have to buy a Thor Diesel to park next to you at a Thor Diesel Owners Club Rally Once more I will state that I see this as a "non event". Where are the hordes of people begging to be let in? When it is all said and done I bet there are fewer than 400 new members with tow behind trailers on the books in a year. Bill
  8. Hi Rick and welcome to the forum. Yes I see the problem. This should be the easiest way to fix it. https://www.blueoxtowbars.com/products/6_quotTrailer_Hitches,BX88265 Bill
  9. I had Coach Net and they did a good job. The problem is they doubled in price so I went with the FMCA service. Haven't needed them so have no report on how they perform. Bill
  10. New cedar closet, that's an expensive screw. Bill
  11. Wow you guys drive slower than I do. Welcome to the forum. To many places to list. Top places might be NO., San Antonio, Texas golf cost, Texas hill country including the Fredericksburg area. Bill
  12. Looks good but haven't stayed there. We were just up the road at Moody Beach and Wild Duck. Also down in RI at Wardens Pond last month. Bill
  13. What make/type levelers do you have? Bill
  14. How much did you pay for the warranty? Bill
  15. I agree with Carl, if Remco says no then it is no. Bill
  16. They stop moving. Don't worry about over extending your hydraulic jacks, I think that is mainly the electric ones that may have a problem. What does the owners manual say? Some say to have the engine running or generator to supply power or shore power. The same with slides. I have to ask, why is this important? Bill
  17. The problem does look like a problem with the inverter. When on shore power or generator it just passes the 110 power through so your refrigerator will work but it doesn't seem to work when 110 power isn't available. I don't think you need to pull the refrigerator out. as you are getting power when 110 is available from other sources. I would go back and read Rich's post and get your documentation out and see if there is a reset button or fuse on the inverter. Bill
  18. There may be other states but they just don't have the TEXAS state of mind. Bill
  19. There are numerous post about insurance/warranty company's not many good ones. Many find it better to take the cost of the policy and self insure. That way you will have some money to make the repairs that the warranty company denies after they have taken your money. Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. Nice coach. Bill
  21. Just to eliminate it, check the drive shaft for play. Welcome to the forum. Bill
  22. That is an oldie but goody. By the way welcome to the forum. Bill
  23. Look at small ceramic heaters with a fan. Last spring we were in the Grand Canyon after Chandler. and similar temps as OP is looking at, no problem. I did feel bad for the tent campers though. Bill
