I think a good rear track bar may help rear end sway when passing or being passed by big rigs. look hear http://blueox.com/chassis-performance/ In order I would do the track bar then the heavier sway bar then maybe the true center. I would do a good check drive after each upgrade before doing the next. There have been several articles on the Sumo springs lately. http://www.supersprings.com/sumosprings_overview_solo.asp Bill

Cummins ISL And ISC Engines With CAPS Fuel Injector
wildebill308 replied to dickandlois's topic in Engines
Do you have a gage so you can check the lift pump pressure? I know you changed it but it would eliminate one possibility. Bill -
I use it on my tablet and phone. They have just announced a new RV app that does some of the same stuff as RV Parkey. It was about $50.00 The one I have (free or real cheap) does a good job. There are a lot of settings you can modify to suit your taste. Bill

Suspension Upgrades: 2011 Ford F53 Chassis

I don't have a gas coach now but this is the one I would buy. http://blueox.com/chassis-performance/tigertrak-track-bars/ Depends what your ability, skill level is, whether you can install it. I don't think it is that big of a job. Bill -
Why can't you carry a couple of tanks? Bill

Yes just use good ventilation, a fan is nice. Don't over use it and wipe up any excess. Don't use it if you aren't comfortable. I don't recall of a single incident when using it. Probably would have heard if someone set a 155 million plane on fire. Bill

Welcome to the forum. The first thing I would do is weigh the coach. Once you know how much you weigh (4 corner weights are better) you can properly adjust your tire pressure. Personally it sounds like you need more pressure. I would also check the load range of the tires. Bill

Welcome to the forum. Personally I don't use a stand alone gps. I have been using CoPilot. You can download the maps when you have wifi so you aren't using data. I have it on my tablet and phone. You can select RV from the Vehicle Routing Profiles. I have been happy with how well it works. Bill

I haven't tried WD-40, the benefit of isopropyl is when it dries it doesn't leave any residue and you can paint the surface. We use to use quite a bit of it cleaning areas with hydraulic leaks on F-35. Bill

Like I said before. For the money the first thing I would add is a rear track bar. Bill -
I was looking at the picture again and it looks like there is a drip on the b nut right in front of the finger. That is where I would start. I would re torque and wipe everything down, re fill the reservoir and see it it is still leaking. By the way isopropyl is good for cleaning up hydraulic fluid. Bill

It may be a loose fitting. Most Likely you are low on fluid from the leak and that is why it won't retract. I would re torque all the fittings and see if that will stop the leak. You will need to add fluid to the reservoir. Bill

Necessity of a Supplemental Braking System
wildebill308 replied to shapoe's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Welcome to the forum. I would not leave home without a supplemental braking system. Look at the link Imsooter posted. Even if your supplemental braking system only stopped you 10 feet shorter than without it. It is still better to stop short than 10 feet later, as in the car that stops suddenly in front of you. The other points about liability are verrey valid. Bill -
Welcome to the forum Bill. I am going on the road around the 16th. Hope to be back for the FMCA rally in Shawnee Oklahoma in September. Bill

T Mobile Service In The Canadian Maritimes
wildebill308 replied to tbussche's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
Talk to your insurance man. I had them email me the info and I printed it out. When you get near the border shut off the "data" on your phone. You can pick up a Canadian tower and not know it. All those things that update automatically could cost you. In Canada data is my the Meg not the Gig. I waited till I had wifi and could use that for any data, such as internet. Bill -
Remember that link I sent you? Bill

Better man than me. I have see how much work it is to remove Diamond shield. I walked away from a couple coaches that had it for that reason. Good luck on your restoration. Bill

Does it turn freely when you turn it by hand? Can you hear it trying to start? Bill

I still have never heard of anyone offering insurance on RV size tires,19.5 or 22.5. The OP was looking for insurance that covered 100% of the cost of a flat. The only one I know of is called "self insurance". Bill

I am wondering how the OP gremlinbangles liked the rally in Perry. Bill

Welcome to the forum. When I was using my dolly I didn't need extra lights as the dolly had all the lights required. Bill
