  1. Oscar. Your asking questions that can be better answered by the Chamber of Tourism for each State, they all have .com for internet and 800# for phone. So do the State and National Parks...just like FL. Been there many times, Gainesville included. Carl
  2. Chris. Please clarify, are you saying that 2,100+ people have registered? Or 2,100+ Motorhomes, with one or more people in it, have registered? Then you have all the Vendors, Dealers, Manufacturers and Show Coaches! Begs the question. How many coaches and other types of rigs can this place hold? Yes, I'm signed up and so is my woman friend, so that is 2 people, in 2 DP's! Please answer all you can. Carl
  3. Vince. Please, a little more explicit on the, "Side wall cracking"! Side wall cracking is normal on all tires, regardless of brand. Carl
  4. Got it, it doesn't add more HP, just uses less HP from what's available, that is more HP to drive axel from what you have now! Would be nice to have that for a side radiator! Carl
  5. I always have my coach serviced at Cummins in Houston, every year around now. I don't have to worry about the correct fluids for the engine, generator or Allison. Yea, there are cheaper places, but at least I know who to fall back on! Always felt, you get what you pay for, if it's a known, reputable place to begin with. I'm to old and brittle to do it myself. Thank you, Mr. Johnson, for your time and expertise. Carl
  6. Ed. Per Cummins, I could have added HP to the engine I have, but then I also would have to re configure the gear change points in my Allison 3000...that costs some serious money! There are several posts on this subject on this Forum under Engines. look at 2014 and work your way up...it's an eye opener! Carl
  7. Rick. Welcome! Mine gave a clunk sound, turned out that I had a bad battery, Changed out all my acid batteries and installed AGM's...my clunk has not come back! If yours is acid, when was the last time you looked at water level? If they are low, add distilled water only! Carl
  8. Wayne, the way I heard it, "PC" had it's funeral in the White House, January 20th. "Lemon", is the word your looking for!
  9. Your coach all electric, no propane? Mine is!
  10. Joe. Your right about consumers problem, but how else do you rearrange things without spending $$$?
  11. Joe, you don't need 7 years of bad luck ! You already have 3 women.. Carl
  12. That's what they did with both of my banks last year, also set the discharge % on Inverter...2, 4000 w Magnums. Carl
  13. Puff, that's great news! Stay warm and I'll cross my fingers on your generator...you might just have had a piece of dirt in your fuel line or the Gremlin died. In any event, it's been fun reading about your journey! Give Hana my best and hope she'll dance the jig soon! Please, continue posting...
  14. You can also, buy stencils and spray on frosting...Rustolium has it in a spray can, then just remove the stencil !
  15. WBill. Had my useless door awning removed and holes patched, will paint tomorrow...fascia replaced on dishwasher. Coach is running good, nothing wrong with it. I'm having Boggy lights installed under coach (red, white and blue) in Chandler, AZ. When I get back to Texas, I'll have all my running lights, including head lights and tail lights replaced with LED! My roof is dry, so I'll have it painted. Carl
  16. Vince. I understand your frustration! But all your anger is to no avail...CAT is still facing millions if not billions of dollar law suits over that engine, nothing you can do about it...Sorry! Send a PM to jleamont, he might have some ideas, that I do not. He's an expert on those engines, so is Brett Wolfe (aka Wolfe10) pick their brains via a PM. Carl
  17. Welcome to the Forum! Any reputable propane dealer will do it...I would get a new valve installed. Carl
  18. WBILL. That's why Wayne and I got stuck in Big Bend....a lot warmer, betcha! I'm in Pipe Creek and it's 76!!! Cool nights, warm day's.... Carl
  19. Ditto! Wonder what happened to my other 3 reply's? Carl
  20. If it works as a countertop or floor, it will work on a wall ! My backsplash is the same tile as the floor! Carl
  21. It's brock, can you see the lines going in/out of switch, or is it covered by a flimsy metal cover? if the later, you need to remove cover in order to replace switch, some manual switches will have a screw or allen screw, so you can remove the handle from shaft, then there might be a small screw holding a piece of the cover in place over the valve, so you don't have to remove the whole panel...pray!
  22. Is that like a long handle that you move from horizontal to vertical? I have had to replace them before, it's a ball valve and most are plastic, I replace with stainless steel, that I get from ACE hardware...you pay for what you get. If it's electrical, I would think the switch is bad and not sending a signal to ball valve open/close...I'm guessing it's a manual switch. Carl
