I received another email explaining the GS trip planner details. The trip software company tripled the monthly price to GS, thus the Mar 10 drop and eventual replacement. I'll probably stay with furkot.com for a trip planner.

Who, What, When, Where or Just Lets Talk

Ya'all talking about RV parks, on the escapees.com forums some guy asked which was the best CG in Texas. That should get lively very quick. -
2006 Holiday Rambler Neptune "cage" under engine

Rather than welding, I would use the high-strength "glue" that''s advertised and sold at NAPA stores to fasten bolt heads to metal surfaces. I forget how much torque it withstands. High-amp welding currents can do strange things to electronics. Drilling N tapping the frame brings it's own set of problems and possible repercussions. -
Mr. Dan Ball, regrettably Bill is correct, your statement IMO, is a classic example of passing the buck. The tire program is your responsibility or FMCA would not support the webpage, this means it is also your responsibility to provide adequate information on the webpage for members to make an informed decision. I would never consider telling members they are on their own when looking at tires on my webpage. I bought a different brand tire for our MH simply because the FMCA webpage did not contain adequate information for me to make a decision. Michelins are waay overpriced, and the Hankook lack of information problem is the source of this thread. Compare the Continental tire information to Hankook and you see the problem. EDIT: Just tried to use the Michelin tire program again and it will not display tire sizes. I write this, not to be contentious, but rather to point out that service is the foundation of any business.

Just received an email from GS telling me the trip planner ends Mar 10. OK, so far so good, but then they continue to explain they "hope" the new trip planner will be launched by the end of 2019?????? That sounds like someone has a bad case of ignorance. Wonder if they must attend some school to learn that lack of planning? Perhaps the good folks at FMCA who designed this new website could offer to help them out with planning, software design and coordinating old vs new website replacement dates.

For an alternative to the old GS trip planner, check out https://trips.furkot.com/ The new GS trip planner might be quite good.

What is the best months to travel to Yellowstone?
rayin replied to keigm's question in Destinations/Attractions
Latter August and September are our favorite time-spans. Schools in session means smaller crowds, weather is agreeable, animals are out feeding in preparation for winter months, etc. -
Not to burst your bubble, but it snowed in Las Vegas yesterday. It's 60° in S. Indiana today.

Instead of trying to figure out how to replace the old obsolete Sony coax, I went with a wireless Voyager rear camera system. To power the wireless camera I re-purposed the Sony coax by making the center wire the 12V positive feed and the braided shield the negative/ground. It's worked well since 2013. Since I had the dash apart anyway to remove the obsolete Sony CRT it was easy.

I do not carry a spare tire since my size is quite common, and I am not brand loyal. Some of the MH owners in the Alaska and Canadian Maritimes caravans do carry a spare because MH tires are quite expensive, especially away from home, and some sizes are hard to locate even here in the U.S.A. Some factors for installing just one new tire are dual tire applications. Just 5/16" diameter difference will rapidly wear both tires in a dual application. https://www.truckinginfo.com/154830/mismatching-dual-tires-a-sure-fire-way-to-kill-two-tires-at-once

I suspect you meant to say I wouldn't recommend; and I completely agree.

Glad you have everything working properly! Thanks for giving us the final results.

That's where our caravan crossed, both directions, there were few others besides our caravan there during the time(I''d estimate 1 hr) it took our 17 rigs to pass security. Our staging RV park was Pumpkin Patch RV park prior to entering CA, and and also the caravan ending point. Calais was where a California couple learned it wasn't nice to lie about how much liquor you had onboard to CA border authorities. I had to go inside and pay taxes on 3 bottles myself.

I just replied to 2 posts and everything worked normally. 👌

I really like that Kobalt torque wrench (can a man have too may tools?), sadly when I mentioned it to DW she reminded me I'm 76 and got no business trying to change a large tire.

Thank you to those who provided the phone # to call direct. I'm getting weary of the GS price increases and " automatic upgrade" to a more costly service.

Real ID act; state by state. All states must be compliant by Oct. 1, 2020. If your DL will expire before then take the required documentation with you to obtain the compliant DL. Border states with Canada began issuing compliant DL right after the Act became law because many worked in one country and worked in the other.

Before buying a new Kobalt battery, check with Interstate Battery for cost of rebuilding yours. They warranty their work. I had them rebuild 2 12V Sears battery packs for me 2 yrs ago, and they still work like new. I think the cost was $37 ea. That $74 was approx. the cost of 1 new Sears pack.

Well, he peaked at the right time, although, no man is an island it's said.

All other online reviews I read confirm your assessment. Thanks!

Works the same for my Spartan chassis air system. I really doubt it's the air system, but rather the steel rear suspension components. Here is the Holland rear suspension, it's clear how metal to metal contact may occur when dumping air pressure from the bag.

Thanks for the progress update Larry and Jason! Finding a software problem is not easy or fast, if it was, anyone could do the job; or so my daughter told me. I suspect Apple agrees - now.

This is exactly like your auto air conditioner, only larger- with 45' hoses. When mine didn't work, I bought a tall can of refrigerant+ sealant at WalMart that has a gauge to show when the charge is adequate. I re-filled the system per instructions and haven't had that problem since, that was in 2013. Now the Evans valve has decided to stop shutting off the flow to the heater coils when using the A/C; have to set it on MAX cooling to get cold air.

Do do you propose to prevent breaking the door glass? When an auto door is sprung you may lower the window to prevent breakage when returning it to normal, this is more complicated. Removing the window is safest IMO.

I had good results from B.F.Goodrich T/A commercial tires on my dually; I figured if that's what UPS has on their delivery trucks they are good enough for me. Unless your Class C is overweight, It might pay to contact Michelin directly and inquire about the tire failures and body damage, sure can't hurt.
