  1. I haven't heard anything bad about them, just never had one. Bill
  2. I bought a used Blue Ox rated for 10,000 lb then had it serviced and re certified by Blue Ox at a FMCA rally. I always recommend that you get at least a 10,000 lb rated bar, that way if you happen to need it (have something heavier to tow) you don't have to buy a new towbar. Bill
  3. Don't blame you a bit. Bill
  4. Welcome to the forum. How cold is it outside? That heater on hi should do a fairly good job. Do you have it on the "Hi" setting? Fan on? Do you have enough power available? A 1500 w output is about the max you can get out of a space heater. Something I have done is to run a separate heavy duty extension cord from the power pedestal. Especially if you want to run a second heater. Run one on the extension and the outher through the RV power cord. Let us know what you find out. Bill
  5. Like jleamont said I would try to get wiring diagrams for all the systems that arn't working. Bill
  6. Yes I had to get a new transponder. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test it yet. Bill
  7. Great place. I have experience there to. Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum. I haven't towed a 5th-Wheel, so talking to E-ZPass would be the best answer. I got my pass in NH at a walk in service center. My instructions were to put the toads pass in the foil packet to shield it and when being towed it would be charged at a lower rate of a trailer not a car. So it would appear you only need a transponder for the truck and they automatically charge you for the trailer when towing. Let us know what they tell you. Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum and congratulations!!! Bill
  10. Which hospital? Glad you are doing well. Enjoy the nice warm room fall came while you were inside. It is cold and drisaley out here. Drove back from Fredericksburg in the slop it was 38 when I was parking the RV down at my place. Bill
  11. I seriously doubt that would have a measurable difference in temps. After looking at this again I also think the spacers may work the opposite of what you would think. They allow air to escape to the side and not be forced through the different coolers. The handiest tool I had on the last coach to tell how it was running was a exhaust temperature gage. This allowed me to see exactly how hot it was running nearly instantly verses watching engine coolant temps that take a while to change. Bill
  12. Carl are your front rims the same size as the drive tires? Bill
  13. Yes, but you have to have the paperwork approved before you travel. Bill
  14. Most are open, you are required to wear a mask in and out. Where are you staying in the Corpus Christi area? Bill
  15. Well let's try again. Drove up from Corpus Christi to Fredericksburg today. Staying at the Vineyards. Bill
  16. I feel the best way to keep from overheating is to manually downshift when it starts to overheat. Downshift till you can accelerate in that gear. This will prevent lugging and improve coolant flow. Bill
  17. Welcome to the forum. Now that we are back up you may get more responses. Bill
  18. Well we will see how long it will last this time. Bill
