  1. Yes I can see how that would cause a problem. Bill
  2. I would rather have a quality electric gage because it is faster and probably more accurate. Bill
  3. Well lets hope they got him towed in and are diagnosing the problem. Like Eric all we can do is wait for answers. Bill
  4. Something to be aware of the Cummins engine in RVs is not the same as used in Dodge trucks. Things like oil filters don't cross fit. Bill
  5. Welcome to the forum. What is the name of that storage company? Underground storage, that's interesting. I was impressed with a place around hear that had climate controlled indoor storage with power. Bill
  6. What make and model has a that? What year, what engine? Bill
  7. Welcome to the forum. Like Carl said "It's up to the Manufactures!" Like why can't I spechial order a Honda CR-V with a transmission that is towable 4 down. Bill
  8. Earniee, I have heard the FMCA site was having a problem in the past couple of days. Keep trying. I have heard that you could go to the main site and then go to the forums. It may clear up for you. Well hope so. Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum. I have done nearly all the up grades when I had a 5.9 Cummins in my 2003 38N towing a Honda CR-V. Do not do any modes without first installing a good Exhaust Gas Temperature monitoring system. I generally ran Banks products. I had the diesel tuner and the water methanol systems installed. I had the Bankes IQ to monitor what was happening. I think you can spend a bunch of money and be quite disappointed in the results. I ended up leaving it on the economy setting that may have helped a little. All that and some more can be taken away with a light head wind. What you do need is the EGT gauge and learn to drive a big rig without lugging it and having high EGT temperatures. I have been over every major pass in the lower 48 and never had a problem getting over them. Well ok the traffic has slowed me to a slow speed more times than the hill. Bill
  10. Welcome to the forum. You might not hear from tomkathymanoff as that post was from 2015. Bill
  11. Things are slow. To me it seems like a natural progression to have a larger capacity battery. Have they given out any dimensions? Bill
  12. What about this one? https://www.hannarv.com/P/18972/HWHR3847HydraulicRVJackReplacementSpringKit allso found them on Amazon. Bill
  13. Well up at Choctaw Casino and decided to try Guy Fieri's. Ok we tried it, Next. choctawcasinos.com/durant/eat-drink/guy-fieris/ Bill
  14. Just a change in subject. Found this on a Winnebago "drop test" Don't know what it means with no comparison and no evaluation outher than visual. Haven't seen anyone else do this. Bill
  15. Try this, turn the thermostat off. pull the front cover off. There should be a fuse in side. Remove the fuse and check it. Put the fuse back in and re install the front of the thermostat. Turn it on and check your "Mode" settings and see if that helps. Let us know what you find out. Bill
  16. That's what I thought. Still not that big of a deal to do. They could make it out of acrylic or plexiglas. I would think the acrylic would work better as it doesn't scratch as easily. Bill
  17. Sad to hear about the vandalism. I would be looking at/for a different glass company. I don't see any big problem in getting a piece of tempered glass and cutting it to the right dimensions. Even if they have to make it and then have it tempered. I would be geting the insurance co to help you find one to fix your problem. Bill
  18. I would have taken that load to the car and gone back and asked them if they had any more in back. Ray it is always easier to practise prevention than clean up the mess if you get infested. Bill
  19. Actually cleaning the radiator stack and down shifting when needed is the cheapest solution. Bill
  20. I would run Clear-Diesel Fuel & Tank Cleaner by Power Service. https://powerservice.com/psp_product/diesel-kleen-cetane-boost/?utm_source=rr&utm_medium=ppcc&gclid=CjwKCAjw2Jb7BRBHEiwAXTR4jWqBg9eyzIUm45S-qtCjndE7Jrb3XCV_bOUuxM07wr-TDZIcom9sQhoCF9YQAvD_BwE I would have a extra set of filters when I did. I run Diesel Kleen in every tank full. Bill
