I think they are a good investment. However they are not a surge protector. You can still get damage from low voltage because the autoformer does not shut off power if it drops to low. Welcome to the forum. Bill

Good job and nice looking set up. Glad to see you back. Bill -
I think I found that spice rack when I was down near Marble Falls. However I can't certify any as salt free. Bill

You are talking about your slide, right. Did you have slide toppers before? I would look at the 16' one. Keep in mind it will help but won't keep all dirt and leaves off the top of your slide but it helps. Carl, I think he is talking the length of the slide. Bill

Ray look at this Fajita seasoning, I use it alot for steak and hamburgers. https://www.fiestaspices.com/product-category/fajita-seasoning/ The non salt free ones are 10% salt or less With how little you would use I don't think it would be a problem. Bill

2012 Class A Diesel inspection in New Jersey

Ask the repair place where they take their RVs for inspection. Bill -
The fact you made it home is a big +. Bill

Yes, it could be at least part of the problem. Have you tried the vinegar and mineral spirits method in a small place you didn't use the pledge? Bill

But that was more about low voltage than being 30 amps. A soft start will do nothing to offset low voltage. Bill

Well My take is Yes ,No , Maybe. I have had RVs that the AC started all at once. The newer AC units start the fan and then after it has stabilized it starts the compressor. This helps lower the big load of starting everything at once. Just curious, have you tried to run both on good 30 amp power? It would be interesting to see what the "actual draw was. I would definitely have a good Surge Guard to protect agents low voltage weather hooked up to 30 or 50 amp power. Bill

Welcome to the forum. I would find a RV park and talk to them. You might get a better rate if you tell them you won't be there. Plus you can have it plugged in while you are gone. Bill -
Here is my tip. When you are ready to put the coolant back in after the last flush. (usually with distilled water) Find out the total capacity of the system. Now put 50% of that capacity with full strength un diluted coolant. Now fill the rest of the way with distilled water. This will give you a true 50/50 mix. The reason to do it this way is you can't drain all the water out of the system. Bill

Welcome to the forum. It is a good plan to be better informed when shopping for a RV. Something that may be as important is the dealer you work with. Bill

What exactly does that statement mean? It is designed to make you think they are the same quality. All truck tires are made basically the same. Doesn't mean they are made to the same quality. I had Triangle tires on my last RV (they came on it) and they only lasted about 5 years before throwing a tread. I posted about it in Tires. Bill

Ray, I think he is trying to generate traffic to his site to sell memberships/acess to the alleged ratings. Bill

Very windy conditions. Leave stabilizers down?
wildebill308 replied to jbarringer's topic in General Discussion
I will bet it would take a bit more to blow a RV over like yours or mine. Unlike a 5er or a tow behind we have a lot more mass low down on the frame. I can picture that in realey strong winds the front might move sidewise but it would take a bunch to push it over. Bill -

Just wondering how FMCA is determining weather someone has a RV or not. It is just like joining. You can say you have a RV and who is checking? Bill
