Yes any discount is better than nothing. The only time I have ever let my fuel get below 1/4 tank was heading home and I knew I had plenty to make it and I could fill up at my Kroger where I had fuel points. Yes the anchor clankers and dirt pounders all made fun of the Army Air Core when it was formed but now they don't mind catching a ride especially on flights back to Conus. I have found there are place with cheaper diesel but you can't get in and out. Yes I can remember pumping diesel in Cal a few years ago when it was over $5.25 a gal and that was the CHEAP stuff. I am happy to have an option. Bill

I believe through the TCS app. I have the app on my phone and just looked at it. Apparently I never set it up. The background shows flags/pins depicting fuel pumps on a map. I think the savings have dropped some as the price of diesel has gone down which is to be expected. Right now Love's, 200 Garden Acres Dr & IH-35W is $2.14 on the pump. (Gas Buddy) It is showing $1.989 on the EFS app. Back in 03/12 the price was $1.823. I don't remember what the pump price was. Still much better than the Good Sams discount. From what I see the discounts are pretty close to the same between the cards. They do vary with time and location. The discounts are not fixed. It is the method of payment that bothers me. Bill

I set mine up about the same time and have never "funded" it because I wasn't traveling right then and didn't want money tied up. Yes the TSD card works great. I would hope FMCA migrates to a TSD type of card. Bill

What exactly are you doing for the campground owners? What incentives have you offered them? Have you offered them a $10.00 bonus for signing up new FMCA members? What about something for the employees? What about a contest between campgrounds in a area or state? Exactly why you need to recruit younger people with a younger audience. No I don't think they are that far apart. You are trying to get Views that lead to donations (dues) from people joining FMCA. You want "Followers" so you can charge more for advertising. They want donations on patreon. I am pretty shure if you grew the FMCA chanel you could get revenue from it to. Bill

I was simply pointing out that it was still cheaper to join FMCA with the benefit package than it was Good Sams with the same level of protection. By the way what are you doing to increase the number of discounts at different campgrounds? I see very little FMCA presence at places I have stayed. I think this is an area that could be improved. I never see any posters,or any on site advertising for FMCA. What about developing some "Point of sale" type promotional material/displays.
