  1. Velcro strap around upper door handles and a slide latch. I’ll try to include pictures
  2. Wayne: Numbers are permanent, never repeated, but sons, daughters, and parents can use the number with a letter S D P.
  3. I am using my 4th or 5th Atwood jack controller on my 2006 Fleetwood Expedition at $525 each. The controller is no longer available. There are two control cables that are connected to the controller. The connections are very small about the size of wire wrap pins. Over time vibration and damp location the connections will corrode. I have used the cleaner and the sealed with clear silicone. May last a year. Last time 3 years. This spring found that the pins had broken loose in the controller printed circuit board. Had to lay and solder wires to the etches on the board. I have seal again. Atwood’s solution is a complete replacement of the whole system, jacks and electronics. When I can no longer repair, I will replace with HWH. My other two coaches with HWH never had a problem, but that is a $5,000 to $8,000 solution that I don’t want to do.
  4. I like FMCA Forums. I visit iRV2 and Good Sam’s sights a couple times a month, and RVillage every few days where I usually visit the Tips and Tricks section if something new is posted. Otherwise I just mark all read and exit.
  5. Hope to if Governing Board meeting is over by then.
  6. I will try. Just hope the Governing Board is over by that time.
  7. I do as Wolfe stated in his last paragraph, and I check battery connections, too. Battery connections don’t have anything to do with 120vac, but can effect inverter/charger.
  8. All connections are on the back of the TV. I made my own mount out of aluminum angle so that I can tilt the TV up and place a cross stick to keep TV up to expose the connections. I should have taken pictures when I was installing. I would have to remove the outside frame and the sound bar to tilt to be able to do pictures now. Just not into that right now. Just finished pulling a 65 foot cable under the coach for the rear view monitor. Now need to fix leveling jacks control on non rainy days.
  9. Size is probably the main issue. Most led thin tvs will have the sound coming out the bottom, difficult to hear. Since the newer tvs have a much smaller frame the width is usually the limiting factor which will leave room for a 24-30” sound bar mounted below the tv. I just installed a 32” Samsung with a Viso sound bar. We have a direcTV receiver, blueray dvd player and over the air tv antenna. To connect to the TV direcTV receiver uses 3 composite video cables. The blueray uses hdmi, and sound bar uses optical. The only problem I have so far is that the universal remote doesn’t control the sound bar. Until I resolve which setup code to use, I have to use 2 remotes, but it is the best TV and sound we have had in a coach.
  10. We use a Keirig with the fill your own flip lid cups. Most of the time we use Folgers, but wive uses decaf and I use regular. Both happy.
  11. I would prefer a Meet & Greet during the Gillette Convention. When you volunteer, it is difficult for us to attend pre or post rallies.
  12. Try Google for Caterpillar 3126B code xx. Some show two codes for an error.
  13. We have a 2006FLEETWOOD Expedition and Cat C-7. Just completed a trip from Arizona to Indiana of 1820 miles with 6.72 mpg.
  14. I have had internet data service several times when I couldn’t make cellular calls and I could see the cell tower. Seems that cellular data gets through even when voice will not.
  15. We have used our data plan on our cellphones as our only internet connection for our laptops (30 gb/mo), but I don’t think I would stream tv shows. Even wifi at most campgrounds would not support streaming well enough.
  16. VAS is the parent provider and supports many different organizations. At one time I believe they did Coachnet and Good Sam. I have signed up for three years. I am sure someone will not be satisfied, but neather have all been pleased with Good Sam, Coachnet and all the others

    FMCA Plates

Probably need to check with FMCA to get suppliers information.
  18. Installing a 12 outlet for your 12 vdc to 24 vdc resmed power brick is fairly easy. Just be sure the center contact is positive. Using this connection is much more efficient than using an inverter.
  19. Relatively common problem with low cost LED fixtures, particularly if they are on a dimmer. You can go on line a search for add on filters. I added one on a friends rv about 4 years ago, but I don’t remember what it was called or where to get it other than I ordered via Amazon.
  20. Gillette July 18-22, 2018. Probably Chandler for FMCA Convention March 2019. Don’t know when INTO Area rally will be or where.
  21. First I suggest you weigh all four corners. Based on the highest weight corner for each axel, while cold, set pressure to what the tire manufacturer recommends plus 5 to 10 pounds but not over the max shown on side wall. You should be OK then. Mine are set to 107 pounds for all four corners. I then see 120 to 124 pounds after the tires get warm. Do not let out any air. If you do, you will be under inflated.
  22. OK. I went out to the Good Sam site and the benefits are similar with a few differences. If you are not a new member and you want a plan for a couple the cost is about $90/year or $20 more per year than the FMCA benefit. They do offer the plan for less if you are a new member. For what is worth, I just renewed FMCA’s for 3 years.
  23. I think there is confusion between FMCAssist which is repatriation insurance included in your dues and FMCA Roadside Assistance (The name has changed to FMCA Rescue) which is for breakdown services for your RV and has a separate charge of $69/year if you sign up for three years.
  24. 2006 coach purchased in 2008. We have put on 90,000 miles or average of 9,000 per year.
  25. I must be older than you. I remember Bon Ami when it was a cake that you put on a few drops of water and the used a small sponge or rag to use it. Don’t ever remember a spray can.
