  1. We have come across some parks that ask the age etc. Frankly, after stopping in some RV parks on our travels, we are all for it. Sadly we have noticed that the number of “full time residents” in Rv parks has been increasing and by this I mean RVs that looked like they haven’t been moved in a long time nor could they be moved. This seems more prevalent in the “oil” or pipeline States but is spreading. We have stopped at a couple of parks where there were only a couple of sites available for travelers, and these were fairly well rated campgrounds in GS, but that’s another story.
  2. Our Phaeton chassis batteries were not charged by the inverter but had a seperate charger near the chassis battery compartment.

  5. What color is the trans fluid? When was it changed last?
  6. Does your Mh have both the check engine and Stop engine lights. The check engine is normally yellow and the stop is red. If it's the yellow, I think you would be safe to drive it to the dealer. If you are hesitant, call the dealer or the Ford help line.
  7. Not familiar with your coach, but if it has air bags, then I would check the ride height, especially the rear as this could affect the angle of the U joint and cause a vibration.

  9. As Brett said, 137 is high, I am wondering if your gauges are not off .   10. Have you sanitized the system? If not I would try that. Mix bleach according to your manual and let is sit for 3-4 hours then completely flush. Your symptom are strange. We do get some foaming if the Mh has been sitting for awhile or when I hook up city water as air does get in the lines. You could also have a small leak somewhere letting air in but I doubt it. Have you changed out the in house filter?
  11. Maybe I'm wrong here, but 800 lbs of torque seems to be a lot more than is required. Ours are set at 450.
  12. Sounds like two problems, you have a parasitic bleed somewhere or you are leaving something on that draws current. It also sounds like your unit is not charging on house current. Do you have a converter or inverter/charger?

    I have no idea, it may be if you are parked on the side of the road, it offers a light on the lane next to you. I have used it when it's dark and need to hook up in a campground.

    I was wrong, the docking lights are the ones over the wheels. The roadlight is the light on the DS, usually located over the wet bay area. It's usually yellow and I can't tell you how many times it was switched one for days with no one noticing it.
  17. Ours was leaking, pulled off all the water hose and found the clamp holding the end of the hose to the unit was not tight enough...

    If you look at your MH, near each wheel you will find some lights that are angled down and towards the rear. These are you road lights, handy when backing into a site at night
  19. On a 2009 it could also be a degraded brake hose.
  20. If I got the wheel and tire off, I don't think I could move it!!!
  21. I have not tested this but I have read that the GFs used in MHs are different than ones for households...something about the way MHs are wired to ground.
  22. If you are talking about the "topper" that covers the top of the slide, I guess you could remove the roller part from the slide itself and let it roll back to the rain gutter but if you do, make sure you have two people when you do.
  23. Agree with Herman, if the arm has bolts at the joints you can snug them up but if it has what most have, large rivets, you can remove the arm and "stake it" which entails using a center punch on the base of the rivet to spread it a bit...just don't go too far or it will be tough to open...
